CRUTCH
A crutch includes an arm rest having an elbow end and a front end, the front end defining a front face having a first opening formed therein, and a bottom edge forming a second opening. The crutch has a handle extending outwardly from the front end of the arm rest, but not from the first or second openings. A leg is received into one of the first and second openings in a first configuration, and into the other of the first and second openings in a second configuration. The leg is selectively convertible between the first and second configuration.
Cane end
The present disclosure is directed to a cane end having attachment means and force absorbing means. In some embodiments, the force absorbing means is a blade capable of deflecting, compressing, and/or flexing under load.
Walking and sock assisting device
A walking and sock assisting device comprising a lower portion and an upper portion. The lower portion comprises a left prong, a right prong, and a lower stem. The left prong comprises a left sock end, a left base, and a left stem end. The right prong comprises a right sock end, a right base, and a right stem end. The upper portion comprises a handle and an upper stem. The left stem end is coupled to the lower stem. The right stem end is coupled to the lower stem. The left sock end and the right sock end are configured to accept a sock. The left sock end and the right sock end are configured to expand the sock to allow a wearer to place a foot into the sock.
A MULTI-FUNCTIONAL MAGNETIC CLIP, HOOK, AND PEDAL DEVICE FOR CRUTCHES, CANES AND OTHER STICK-LIKE OBJECTS
This invention relates to a cane/crutch accessory, arranged to be fastened near a distal end (13) of a cane/crutch (11) or similar also equipped with a ferrule (12), by means of a fastening means (5, 17), optionally including adaptor ring/s (15), which accessory includes an arm (28) protruding from said fastening means (5, 17) and a hook-shaped member (6) protruding at an angle in relation to said arm (28), thereby creating a simple grasping device with no moving parts between the arm (6) and the ferrule (12), wherein said arm (6) preferably having a ramp profile (28) to avoid getting caught in objects.
CRUTCHES, WALKING STICKS AND THE LIKE, AND ENHANCEMENT METHODS THEREFOR
A crutch, or the like, that can handle ground conditions includes an elongate brace having a lower extension and an upper element. The upper element is adapted to engage a portion of the human anatomy. A device positioned at the lower extension includes a firm proximal member, and a firm distal member. The firm proximal member and the firm distal member are positioned below the upper end of the main body. Also included is an elongate flexible structure. This structure is adapted to engage the proximal member and the distal member, and allow them to angularly deflect relative to each other. An angular offset can then occur between the firm distal member and the main body. Also included is a base positioned below the distal member that has multiple feet.
Mobility device
A mobility device for assisting an individual with limited or altered mobility due to a leg injury or condition. The mobility device includes a rod that defines a longitudinal axis of the mobility device, a foot rest slidably mounted for longitudinal translation along the rod, a seat located at an upper end of the mobility device, and an impact-absorbing mechanism for absorbing impacts transferred from the seat to the rod. The device is configured for securing the thigh of the user's leg to the seat, and securing the foot of the user's leg to the foot rest.
WALKING ASSISTANCE DEVICE
A walking assistance device includes: a base frame; two front wheels, the two front wheels on a traveling side of the base frame; and one rear wheel. An operation frame including a holding grip for an operator is height-adjustably attached to the base frame. A first axle support with the axle of the front wheels fixed is attached to the base frame, whereby the front wheels retain in contact with the ground even when the operation frame tilts. The axle of the front wheels is positioned on the traveling direction side with respect to the leading end in the traveling direction of the base frame. Providing a gap and a stopper above the rear wheel and downward pressing against the holding grip allows the stopper to come into contact with the rear wheel.
