Stain hiding fabric with metallic coating
This invention relates to a method for hiding stains in medical dressings and other textile substrates. The method includes applying a metallic silver coating to a textile substrate via a plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition (PECVP) process. The metallic silver coating effectively hides any stain that comes into direct contact with the treated substrate by transferring the liquid beneath the surface of the coating. The invention also relates to textile substrates containing metallic silver coatings.
FLEECE FABRIC AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME
A fabric having a first side and a second side and comprising weft yarns and warp yarns woven together in pattern. At least some of the weft, or warp, yarns float over a number of warp yarns, or weft yarns, and below a number of warp yarns, or weft yarns, to provide weft, or warp, over portions on the first side and under portions on the second side. The under portions and/or over portions of the yarns form loops. At least some of the yarns that form the loops are conjugate yarns comprising a plurality of filaments that are separable, i.e., splittable into sub-filaments. The loops of the conjugate yarns extend for a length of at least three adjacent warp, or weft, yarns.
GARMENT FOR ANIMALS
A form fitting garment for an animal. In one aspect, the garment provides constant, gentle presure to the animal in order to induce calm or reduce anxiety in the animal. In another aspect the garment is designed to be slipped on to the animal, and requires no straps, fasteners, or pull-strings to achieve a desired fit. In another aspect, the garment is designed to withstand the rigors of outdoor use. In another aspect, the garment is consistent with aquatic use.
PROCESS FOR PRODUCING VASCULAR PROSTHESES
A thermoplastic poly(urethane-urea) polyadduct (I) with sterically hindered urea groups used in an electrospinning method for producing vascular prostheses:
##STR00001## I, M, C.sub.1 and C.sub.2 represent bivalent radicals linked via a urethane or urea moiety; I and C.sub.2 represent a bivalent, saturated or unsaturated, aliphatic, alicyclic or aromatic radical with 1-20 carbon atoms derived from (I): a diisocyanate; or (C.sub.2): from a diol, diamine or amino alcohol; M represents a bivalent radical of an aliphatic polyether, polyester or polycarbonate derived from a macrodiol having M.sub.n?500; C.sub.1 represents a bivalent, saturated or unsaturated, aliphatic or alicyclic radical with 1-30 carbon atoms derived from a diamine or amino alcohol with ?1 sterically hindered secondary amino group through removal of one N-linked hydrogen atom of the diamine or one N-linked and the O-linked hydrogen atoms of the amino alcohol.
EYELASH AND EYE AREA CLEANING CLOTHS AND DRYING CLOTHS AND METHODS OF USING SAME
A method for removing eye makeup comprises: providing a makeup removal cloth comprising a bamboo fabric having an interlock knit; moistening the makeup removal cloth with water or a makeup removal fluid; positioning the makeup removal cloth at an inner portion of an eyelid or under eye region of the user; and moving the makeup removal cloth from the inner portion of the eyelid or under eye region to an outer portion of the eyelid or under eye region.
NON-CHEMICAL, MOSQUITO BITE-RESISTANT GARMENTS
An insect-proof, form-fitting undergarment is provided having top and bottom parts formed of selected breathable materials and having omnidirectional stretch properties, and which top and bottom parts may be securely joined at the waist to prevent insect entry. A superfine knitted fabric is utilized to prevent insect bites.
SPANDEX HAVING IMPROVED UNWINDING PROPERTIES AND ENHANCED ADHESIVE PROPERTIES WITH HOT MELT ADHESIVE AND METHOD FOR PREPARING SAME
The present invention relates to a method for preparing spandex having improved unwinding properties and enhanced adhesive properties with a hot melt adhesive and, more specifically, to a method for preparing spandex by means of adding a polystyrene polymer to a polyurethane-urea solution which is a spinning solution. Therefore, when spandex is unwound, irregular ballooning, tension spikes and the like can be effectively improved and other physical properties are unaffected. And the adhesive properties with a hot melt adhesive are enhanced.
BIELASTIC FABRIC AND ITS MANUFACTURING PROCESS
There are described a bielastic fabric comprising biopolyamide yarn and elastane yarn, having excellent elastic properties and high dimensional stability, and a cost-effective, efficient process for obtaining it.
BRA WING WITH INTEGRATED GRIPPING TECHNOLOGY
Difficulties with designing strapless bras include ensuring that they are comfortable, breathable, and that they do not slide down on the wearer's body. Many strapless bra designs use elastic bands or high friction polymer coatings to keep the bra in place. These additions can be uncomfortable and add weight to the bras. The bra wings disclosed herein have exposed elastic threads that grip the wearer's body to resist sliding. They are comfortable and light-weight, with free-cut edges that ensure a smooth look on the wearer's body. Single-layer construction and lack of high-friction coatings or elastics ensure breathability. Methods of making the bra with integrated gripping technology are also disclosed herein.
SPANDEX FIBER DRY SPINNING COMPONENT AND SPINNING PART
The present invention provides an elastic fiber dry spinning component and spinning part. The spinning component includes: a temperature control box (3) including a box body (31), wherein the box body (31) is longitudinally provided with multiple polymer solution channels (32) separated from each other; areas in the box body (31) other than the polymer solution channels (32) are cavities, and the cavities are used for circulation of a fluid medium that exchanges heat with an elastic fiber dry spinning polymer solution in the polymer solution channels (32); and a spinneret part (4) detachably connected to the temperature control box (3), wherein the spinneret part (4) includes multiple spinneret orifice sets (41) separated from each other, and the multiple spinneret orifice sets (41) are correspondingly in communication with outlets of the multiple polymer solution channels (32). The spinning part includes a metering device and the above-mentioned spinning component; the metering device is detachably connected to the temperature control box (3) and is used for metering and allocating the elastic fiber dry spinning polymer solution to the multiple polymer solution channels (32). The spinning component and the spinning part are convenient to install and maintain and are highly efficient.
