The circuit component may comprise: a substrate layer comprising an integrated circuit disposed on the substrate layer; and a first conductive linkage electrically coupled to the integrated circuit. The fabric-based component may comprise: a fabric layer comprising a first at least one conductive thread; and a second conductive linkage electrically coupled to the first at least one conductive thread. The fastener may be configured to couple the circuit component and the fabric-based component at the first conductive linkage and the second conductive linkage.

Method for the production of conductive structures

A method for the production of conductive structures, wherein nanofibers are applied with a photocatalytic component onto a substrate, in particular by electrospinning, and wherein a metallic layer is deposited photolytically on the substrate.

CONTACT SENSOR

A contact sensor and system for incorporation within clothing and other wearable items to monitor activity at a body surface. The sensor includes a contact membrane having a body surface contacting area and one or more base layers of knitted fabric. The base layer(s) is thicker over an area congruent with the body surface contacting area of the contact membrane. As a result, the contact membrane is urged into the forming of a raised outer surface for projection against a body surface.

DURABLE AND LAUNDERABLE CUSHIONING AND INSULATIVE FABRICS AND STRINGS AND METHODS FOR MAKING SAME
20220356614 · 2022-11-10 ·

Disclosed is a stitch-bonded string comprising at least one stitched line extending in a machine direction and fibers emanating from the at least one stitched line. The at least one stitched line comprises a plurality of loops and said plurality of loops enclose substantially all of said fibers. The stitched line is gathered to reduce a dimension of the plurality of loops holding said fibers within the loops. The stitched line's weight is less than 20%, preferably less than 10%, and more preferably less than 5% of the total weight of the stitch-bonded string. The fibers have a basis weight ranging between 30 and 400 grams/meter.sup.2, preferably between 40 and 350 g/m.sup.2, preferably between 50 and 300 g/m.sup.2 or between 100 and 250 g/m.sup.2. Methods for making the string are also disclosed.
