A microfiber nonwoven composite has a first and a second fiber component arranged in form of alternating layers, whereinat least a first layer A has the first fiber component in form of composite filaments melt-spun and deposited as a nonwoven fabric which are at least partially slit and solidified to form elementary filaments having an average titer of less than 0.1 dtex, preferably between 0.03 dtex and 0.06 dtex,at least one layer B is arranged over layer A, wherein the layer B has the second fiber component in form of fibers deposited and solidified as a nonwoven fabric having an average titer of from 0.1 to 3 dtexat least one second layer A is arranged on layer B.

Disclosed are a method, a device and/or a system of proliferating a thread count of a woven textile by simultaneous insertion within a single pick insertion event of a loom apparatus multiple adjacent parallel yarns drawn from a multi-pick yarn package. In one or more embodiments, multiple texturized polyester weft yarns of denier between 15 and 65 are wound on a single bobbin in a parallel adjacent fashion such that they may be fed into an air jet pick insertion apparatus and/or a rapier pick insertion apparatus of an air jet loom to weave a textile that has between 90 to 235 ends per inch cotton warp yarns and between 100 and 1410 polyester weft yarns.

A process is described wherein pile yarn is woven with cotton weft and warp yarns to produce terry fabrics, such as towels. The fabric is then washed in warm water to dissolve the PVA fiber. The amount of fibers dissolved, depends upon the count of the yarn or yarns used. By dissolving the PVA fibers, a hollow air space is produced throughout the pile yarn, corresponding to an increase in the air space in the pile yarn. By increasing the in space in the pile yarn, the resulting towels are softer and bulkier than standard cotton towels. The present invention further relates to pile yarn in terry woven fabric (warp yarn), or weft yarn, in the case of flat fabrics.

A jacquard fabric for a mattress ticking to be used for a bedding mattress and a method for knitting this jacquard fabric are provided. The method according to the present invention is a method for producing a jacquard fabric for a mattress ticking using a double-sided needle selection circular knitting machine of a rib gating type, the method by which a suitable pattern is created by means of computer-based needle selection on a cylinder side, a suitable pattern is also created by means of computer-based needle selection on a dial side, and a suitable knitting structure is made in a suitable part by combining the pattern obtained on the cylinder side with the pattern obtained on the dial side. As a result of employing an irregular twill pattern as a background knitting structure serving as a base, a stretchable fabric that has a soft texture, a tight knitting structure, and similar strength to woven fabric is obtained.
