Protective covering for wood products
Protective coverings herein have a coated woven material with a first edge parallel with a warp direction and a second edge opposite the first edge, and have a first edge band proximate the first edge and a second edge band proximate the second edge. The coated woven material has a woven scrim made of a plurality of weft tapes and a plurality of warp tapes, but the warp tapes positioned in the first and second edge bands are high-shrinkage warp tapes and the warp tapes positioned in between the first and second edge bands have a shrinkage that is less than a shrinkage of the high-shrinkage warp tapes, and has a coating on at least one major surface of the woven scrim. The plurality of high-shrinkage warp tapes shrink upon application of heat. Methods of covering a load, such as stacked lumber, with the protective covering are also disclosed.
Raschel machine, net, and use of the Raschel machine to produce a net
A Raschel machine (100) comprises a plurality of first guide needles (110) arranged along a first direction for guiding warp threads (210), a plurality of second guide needles (150) arranged along the first direction for guiding weft threads (220) and a plurality of needles (180) arranged along the first direction for creating interlocked loops formed by threads, whereby the warp threads (210) are created. The first guide needles (110) are held by a first needle bar (120), the second guide needles (150) are held by a second needle bar (160), and the second needle bar (160) is moved back and forth between two respective neighbouring first guide needles (110). The space between neighbouring first guide needles (110) is greater than 25.4 m (1 inch).
Openwork fabric
An improved tubular openwork fabric or net for food products, the openwork fabric including alternating cojoined and intermediate members, each intermediate member including a filament assembly and each cojoined member including a pair of filament assemblies that are worked together, the filament assemblies being extensible and the open work fabric being extensible in both longitudinal and transverse directions.
Fully-degradable Heat-Insulating Environment-friendly Packaging Bag for Express Delivery
A fully-degradable heat-insulating environment-friendly packaging bag for express delivery, comprising a bag body, wherein the bag body has double fabric layers, including an inner layer of hot-rolled non-woven fabric, an outer layer of coated non-woven fabric, and a sandwich layer wherein the sandwich layer is filled with heat-insulating fibers. The bag body is using PLA biodegradable plastic material as base material, and the bag body is produced by spinning PLA, manufacturing thin non-woven fabrics, coating non-woven fabric, printing, forming a bag, and filling the fibers.
Plastic mesh having double chains, and device for producing a plastic mesh
The invention relates to a plastic mesh having a plurality of chains extending parallel to one another in a longitudinal direction, which plastic mesh has a plurality of groups of chains (2) adjacent to one another, which are in each case formed of at least two chains (2a, 2b). The groups of chains (2) have a greater spacing relative to one another or also relative to a further individual chain (1) than the chains (2a, 2b) within a group of chains (2). A thread (3) runs in a zigzag between two adjacent groups of chains (2) or also between one group of chains (2) and an individual chain (1) and connects the chains (1) or groups of chains (2).
SINGLE SIDED HYDROPHILIC NONWOVEN FABRIC WITH HIGH TENSIBLE STRENGTH AND CSR WRAP MADE THEREFROM
The present application discloses a single sided hydrophilic nonwoven fabric with high tensile strength and a CSR wrap made therefrom, wherein the single sided hydrophilic nonwoven fabric has a spunbonded/meltblown/spunbonded (SMS) structure consisting of a top spunbonded layer, a middle meltblown layer and a bottom spunbonded layer, wherein one side of the nonwoven fabric is hydrophilic, and the other side of the nonwoven fabric is hydrophobic.
NONWOVEN FABRIC FOR ORAL POUCHED PRODUCT, AND METHODS OF MANUFACTURING A NONWOVEN FABRIC
A nonwoven fabric for use as packaging in an oral pouched product, where the nonwoven fabric comprises a web of chemically bonded staple fibres in which a relative proportion of staple fibres and a binder is selected in conjunction with a density of the fabric to strike an optimal balance in achieving a fabric that provides a soft (e.g. low friction) mouthfeel, a wet strength capable of withstanding manipulation in a user's mouth (e.g. chewing, sucking or the like), and a resistance to unwanted leaching or leaking of flavouring or other fine particle substances used in modern oral products.
Methods for obtaining colored or chromic substrates
The present invention provides a post-fabrication modification approach for the fabrication of colored and chromic materials and sensors using plasma surface modification to covalently bind the coloring agent to the substrate, thus avoiding leaching of the dye. Advantageously, in said methods, said coloring agent is a dye or pigment linked to a radical sensitive functional group, such as an alkenyl or alkynyl functional group, and is applied to the substrate prior to the gas plasma treatment. The methods envisaged herein are generic in nature, which allow the covalent immobilization of various dyes on different materials. The covalently coated materials after plasma surface modification, particularly the covalently coated chromic materials and sensors, can be used in many different applications, such as protective textile and wound dressing applications.
A POUCHED PRODUCT FOR ORAL USE
Described is a pouched product for oral use that includes a liquid permeable cover material and a portion sized amount of a filling material has a water insoluble particulate material, the filling material being enclosed by the liquid permeable cover material. The particles of the water insoluble particulate material have an average particle size within the range of from 0.3 mm to 3.0 mm, a particle density in the range of from 0.8 g/cm.sup.3 to 1.7 g/cm.sup.3 and a pre-use moisture content of from 1% by weight of the filling material to 35% by weight of the filling material.
