The connecting assembly includes two first cross bars and two second cross bars, each said first cross bar is further pivoted to one of the two second legs, and the two second cross bars are respectively pivoted to and between one of the two first legs and one of the two second legs. Each said first adjusting assembly includes a first abutting assembly and a second abutting assembly, and each said first abutting assembly is disposed on one of the two first legs and movable to be located in a first position or a second position.

Walking assist device

A walking assist device has a frame, a plurality of wheels, drive units, a battery, and a drive control unit that controls the drive units. The walking assist device also has: a pair of right and left movable handles that are grasped by a user and movable back and forth with respect to the frame in accordance with arm swing performed during walk of the user; handle guide units provided on the frame to guide the movable handles in a movable range that matches the arm swing performed during walk of the user; and a grasp portion state detection unit that detects the state of the movable handles. The drive control unit controls the travel speed of the walking assist device by controlling the drive units on the basis of the state of the movable handles which is detected using the grasp portion state detection unit.

A system according to an aspect of the present disclosure includes a walking assistance robot and an automatic elevation chair that moves a seating surface where a user sits. The automatic elevation chair detects a consciousness level of the user and transmits consciousness level information on the detected consciousness level of the user to the walking assistance robot via the network. The walking assistance robot, including a body and a rotor that moves the walking assistance robot, receives the consciousness level information via the network and controls resistance force to rotation of the rotor based on the received consciousness level information.
