Method for producing a net with elongated stitches
09909239 · 2018-03-06 · ·

A method, an elongating device, a Raschel knitting machine comprising the elongating device for producing nets with elongated stitches and a net comprising elongated stitches is described. The method comprises the steps of continuously generating new loops for elongating the two rows of loops by additional loops and dragging the rows of loops in a machine direction, generating a first stitch of the weft by joining the weft to a loop of the first row and to a loop of the second row, and positioning the first stitch across a surface of an elongating device for preventing the first stitch from traveling with the warps knitted to loops in the machine direction. The joining is configured for elongating the first stitch by pulling additional weft material, and the surface of the elongating device is carrying out a reciprocating movement towards the first stitch. Further, an elongating device for elongating of the stitches is described.

A substrate is mountable on a lacrosse stick head to form a pocket. The head has a throat attached to a shaft, a ball stop attached to the throat, a scoop distal to the throat, and sidewalls extending between the ball stop and the scoop. The substrate includes a top portion and a bottom portion. The top portion is positioned proximate to the scoop and the bottom portion is positioned between the top and the ball stop. The top and bottom portions include yarn knit to form the substrate. A method of making the substrate includes casting the yarn onto a needle, knitting the top and bottom portions, casting the yarn off the needle, tying off the yarn and attaching the substrate to the head.

METHOD OF FORMING LACROSSE MESH WITH MULTIPLE MESH SIZES
20170175309 · 2017-06-22 ·

A method of forming a lacrosse mesh with a plurality of mesh sizes dispersed horizontally and vertically within the lacrosse mesh is provided. The chain notation may include control of any number of guide bars. Additionally, the chain notation may account for varying crossover length and leg length of mesh sizes formed utilizing the chain notation, wherein the varying of the crossover length and the leg length results in varying the mesh sizes while still maintaining the same chain length for forming the various mesh sizes in the lacrosse mesh.

Knitted net for round balers

A knitted net (1) for round balers comprises a plurality of equidistant chains (2), arranged parallel to a longitudinal direction of development. Each chain (2) comprises a plurality of knots (3) placed at regular intervals. The adjacent chains (2) are connected to each other by transverse threads (4), at the knots (3). Each transverse thread (4) comprises a plurality of segments (5). In particular, each segment (5) develops between a first knot (3) of a chain (2) and a second knot (3) of an adjacent chain (2), located at a position preceding or following the first knot (3). Each chain (2) comprises a single longitudinal thread (6).

A netting material comprises a main portion and a netted window portion. The main portion has apertures of a first aperture size and shape, and the netted window portion has apertures of a second aperture size and shape. The apertures of the netted window portion are of sufficient size and shape to allow honey bees to pass through the netting material, whereas the apertures of the main portion are of sufficient size and shape to substantially prevent honey bees passing through the netting material.

BIODEGRADABLE RESIN COMPOSITION AND FISHING NET PRODUCED FROM SAME

The present invention relates to a biodegradable resin having outstanding colouring properties, and provides a resin composition which does not give rise to problems such as reduced strength due to colouration. The composition of the present invention, suggests that a PBSAT resin is used as a biodegradable resin, and colouration is performed with same. Also, at this time, the colourant can be mixed in the form of masterbatch. In the present invention, the resin composition is used in the production of various products, in particular monofilament yarn produced via spinning and a fishing net manufactured from same is provided. Fishing nets such as the above are advantageous in that such fishing nets can be realized in various colours in accordance with customer requirements and satisfy the required strength and, after use, degrade naturally in seawater and so do not give rise to problems like environmental pollution.

Method for thermal molding of filament product

Provided is a thermal molding method for producing a thermally molded article having excellent abrasion resistance at its melt-fused part. Polyamide 6 and a copolyester are prepared separately. The copolyester contains terephthalic acid, ethylene glycol, and 1,4-butanediol as copolymerization units. The copolyester may further contain -caprolactone and/or diethylene glycol as a copolymerization unit. A multifilament yarn in which core-sheath type composite filaments each containing a core component and a sheath component at a ratio of 1 to 4:1 by mass are bundled is produced by a composite melt-spinning method using the polyamide 6 as the core component and the copolyester as the sheath component. Using the multifilament yarn, a product of filaments is produced by weaving, knitting, knitting and braiding, or braiding. The product of filaments is heated to melt the copolyester and fuse the core-sheath type composite filaments to each other while retaining the initial filament form of the polyamide 6, thus thermally molding the product of filaments.
