Paper filler composition
Methods of preparing partially dried or essentially completely dried compositions comprising microfibrillated cellulose and an inorganic particulate material may include microfibrillating a fibrous substrate comprising cellulose in an aqueous environment by grinding in the presence of an inorganic particulate material to form an aqueous composition comprising microfibrillated cellulose and inorganic particulate material, wherein the fibrous substrate comprising cellulose has a Canadian Standard freeness equal to or less than 450 cm, wherein the fibrous substrate to the inorganic particulate material are in a ratio of about 99.5:0.5 to about 0.5:99.5, and wherein the microfibrillated cellulose has a fibre steepness of from about 20 to about 50; by treating the aqueous composition comprising microfibrillated cellulose and inorganic particulate material to remove at least a portion or substantially all of the water of the aqueous composition to form a partially dried or essentially completely dried composition comprising microfibrillated cellulose and inorganic particulate material.

Pulp mixture
There is provided a use of a pulp mixture for forming a container in a mould, which pulp mixture comprises: 65-90%, such as 70-84%, by dry weight of a first pulp having a Schopper-Riegler (SR) number of below 48, preferably below 40, more preferably below 30; and 10-35%, such as 16-30%, by dry weight of a second pulp having a Schopper-Riegler (SR) number of 60-90, preferably 70-90, more preferably 77-90. A pulp mixture and a method of producing a pulp mixture are also provided.

There is provided a use of a pulp mixture for forming a container in a mould, which pulp mixture comprises: 65-90%, such as 70-84%, by dry weight of a first pulp having a Schopper-Riegler (SR) number of below 48, preferably below 40, more preferably below 30; and 10-35%, such as 16-30%, by dry weight of a second pulp having a Schopper-Riegler (SR) number of 60-90, preferably 70-90, more preferably 77-90. A pulp mixture and a method of producing a pulp mixture are also provided.
Method to produce a paperboard, a paperboard and a corrugated board
The present invention relates to a method for producing a paperboard comprising the steps of; providing a furnish comprising cellulosic fibers, applying the furnish on at least one wire to form a web, dewatering the web on said at least one wire by subjecting the web to a pressure above 150 kPa without the use of a press roll nip and thereafter pressing the dewatered web to form a paperboard. The invention also relates to a paperboard and a corrugated board.

The present invention relates to a method for producing a paperboard comprising the steps of; providing a furnish comprising cellulosic fibers, applying the furnish on at least one wire to form a web, dewatering the web on said at least one wire by subjecting the web to a pressure above 150 kPa without the use of a press roll nip and thereafter pressing the dewatered web to form a paperboard. Refining to a desirable freeness
The present invention provides compositions comprising cellulose fibers and cellulose ester fibers and wet laid articles made from the compositions, as well as wet laid processes to produce these compositions. More specifically, the present invention provided compositions comprising cellulose fibers and cellulose acetate fibers and wet laid articles made from these compositions as well as wet laid processes to produce these compositions. The present invention also relates to developing a composition, process, wet laid product, or articles exhibiting any one of many desired benefits.
Paper filler composition
A method for preparing an aqueous suspension may include providing a fibrous substrate comprising cellulose having a Canadian Standard freeness equal to or less than 450 cm.sup.3, and microfibrillating the fibrous substrate in an aqueous environment by grinding in the presence of a grinding medium consisting essentially of mullite. The grinding may be carried out in the absence of grindable inorganic particulate material. The grinding medium may be present in an amount of at least about 10% by volume of the aqueous environment. The microfibrillated cellulose may have a fibre steepness of from about 20 to about 50.

Variation in the thickness of accumulated material is suppressed when material containing fiber is dispersed by the sieve and accumulated. A sheet manufacturing apparatus includes a drum that sieves defibrated material containing fiber, a first web former that accumulates first screened material discharged from the drum, and a processor that processes a first web accumulated in the first web former. During processing by the processor, the mesh belt operates at a first speed. When operation starts with the drum not operating, a startup operation including the mesh belt operating at a higher speed than the first speed in a first period after the drum starts is executed.
