A lip-enhancement device can include a vacuum pump, a controller configured to control the vacuum pump, a pump housing structured to enclose the vacuum pump and the controller, and a mouthpiece reversibly and rigidly mountable to the pump housing. The mouthpiece can include a pump-housing-engaging side structured to reversibly mount to the pump housing on a mouthpiece-receiving side of the pump housing, and a lips-engaging side having a generally oval rim with a thermoplastic elastomer outer layer. The generally oval rim can bound a bowl, and the bowl can include a suction port providing fluidic communication between an interior of the bowl and an exterior of the bowl on the pump-housing-engaging side. The mouthpiece-receiving side of pump housing can include a suction connector structured to fluidically couple the suction port of the mouthpiece with the vacuum pump when the mouthpiece is mounted to the pump housing.

A treatment device for removing heat from subcutaneous lipid-rich cells of a subject having an actuator that provides mechanical energy to the tissue. The mechanical energy provided may include a vibratory component that can range between low and ultra-high frequencies, and such energy may include various combinations of two or more frequencies tailored to produce the desired effect on the subcutaneous tissue. Disruption of adipose tissue cooled by an external treatment device may be enhanced by applying mechanical energy to cooled tissue. Furthermore, such mechanical energy may impart a vibratory effect, a massage effect, a pulsatile effect, or combinations thereof on the tissue.

Various embodiments are directed to a therapy tape configured to enable a tensile force to be applied to one or more surfaces (e.g., a patient's skin). In various embodiments, the therapy tape may comprise a backing layer having a top surface and a bottom surface. An adhesive layer configured to secure the therapy tape to a surface may be secured relative to the bottom surface of the backing layer. Moreover, one or more handles may be secured to the top side of the backing layer. The one or more handles may be configured to enable a tensile force to be applied to the therapy tape and the surface to lift a portion of the surface while maintaining adherence between the therapy tape and the surface.

A casing defining an internal chamber having a skinfold formed therein when it is applied to a patient's skin, said fold coming into contact with the lower edges of the chamber. A lip enhancement and enlargement device includes a suction element and a lip shaper coupled to the suction element. A lip shaper may include one or more features that allow the device to shape and contour lips. A lip shaper may include one or more contouring elements that change the shape of an upper lip, for example. A lip shaper may also include shaping and contouring elements that form a fuller, unitary lip lobe or two fuller, lip lobes. Lip enhancement and enlargement kits and methods are also disclosed.
