A vehicle headrest assembly including a massaging mechanism that has at least one moving component and multiple settings. The massaging component further includes a heating element for providing therapeutic heating or cooling. Several headrest assemblies may be incorporated into a rideshare vehicle or public transport vehicle. The massaging settings are selected by an occupant or driver and include adjustments in temperature and speed at which the moving component progresses. The massaging mechanism further includes a microprocessor configured to implement a safety check and limit certain functions if the request is associated with a headrest assembly on a driver's seat while the vehicle is being driven.

A foldable massage chair has a foldable chair and a massaging mechanism. The massaging mechanism synchronizes the movement of the first and second massage units and the two moving members by driving the two primary shafts with a single motor, and the two moving members are equipped with the two driving gears with a passive gear engaging with the two belts. A casing defining an internal chamber having a skinfold formed therein when it is applied to a patient's skin, said fold coming into contact with the lower edges of the chamber. The chamber is defined by two lateral walls and by two transverse walls, at least one of said transverse walls being formed of a flap capable of having a pivoting motion, to induce the coming closer and the drawing away from each other of the lower edges of said transverse walls in contact with the skinfold. The pivoting of the flap is obtained by means of a geared motor fixedly assembled within said flap, and having its output shaft rotating a cam, received in a cam race fastened to one of the lateral walls of the internal chamber.

A massage mechanism and its massager. The massage mechanism includes a base, motor, drive assembly, first drive shaft, first bearing, first massage drive assembly, first massage head assembly, inter-shaft drive assembly, second transmission shaft, second bearing, second massage drive assembly and second massage head. There is also provided a massager including the foregoing massage mechanism. The mechanism could optimize those unstable and noisy features for an ideal massage experience, and solve the problem that multiple massage actions cannot be driven by a single motor.

A massaging device according to the present application includes: a plurality of brush-like stimulation units 3 attached to a lower surface of a body unit 2, the stimulation units 3 each having a plurality of protrusions 3a; and a drive means provided inside the body unit 2 for vibrating or oscillating the stimulation units 3. By activating the drive means and pressing the protrusions 3a of the stimulation units 3 against the surface of skin, it is made possible to apply stimulation to the skin and an area under the skin in a pressed state, providing a massaging effect. In such configuration, the tip ends of the stimulation units 3 are covered with a sheet-like protective film 4 including a plurality of layers of films 4a, 4b that are slidable on each other in an in-plane direction. Because the tip ends of the stimulation units 3 are covered with the protective film 4, it is made possible to prevent the hair from getting entangled around the protrusions 3a of the stimulation units 3 when used for scalp stimulation, for instance, and to prevent the protrusions 3a from causing damages on the skin when excessive force is applied to the stimulation units 3.
