Method For Operating A Machine For Producing A Fibrous Web and Machine for Producing a Fibrous Web
A method of operating a machine for producing a fibrous web. The machine has a de-watering device with a plurality of pivotally embodied de-watering strips. In the method, an inclination angle of at least one of the de-watering strips is modified as a function of at least one parameter. The modification is effected by way of the pivoting installation which is activated by a control installation. The actual inclination angle of the at least one de-watering strip to be pivoted is detected and transmitted to the control installation. The control installation activates the pivoting installation as a function of the transmitted inclination angle.
CLOTHING FOR PAPER MACHINES OR PULP DEWATERING MACHINES AND THE USE OF SUCH A CLOTHING
A clothing for paper or pulp dewatering machines comprising monofilaments comprising a partially aromatic polyamide. A machine-side fabric layer is provided, and at least the machine-side fabric layer comprises monofilaments with a partially aromatic polyamide. The clothing comprises or is formed by longitudinal threads extending in a running direction and transverse threads extending transversely to the longitudinal threads, and at least some of the transverse filaments are monofilaments with a partially aromatic polyamide.

Method and device for making wet laid non wovens
Method for producing wet-laid non-woven fabrics, with which an aqueous suspension comprising fibres is laid down on a screen and is dewatered using suction boxes under the screen to form a sheet of non-woven web which is removed from the screen and guided to at least one subsequent treatment unit before the non-woven web can be wound, and transferring of the non-woven web from the screen to the at least one subsequent treatment unit and/or transferring of the non-woven web to interfaces between treatment units on the start of production and/or after an interruption in production, using a web feed, wherein web is fed via a temporarily closed draw of a free draw between the screen and the at least one subsequent treatment unit and/or of a free draw at an interface between treatment units, and the respective temporarily closed draw is produced via air flows, which lift off an end feeding strip as part of the running non-woven web by blowing, adhere same to a transport path device by generating negative pressure and lift up same at the following treatment unit by suction.

Scraper bar for use in a plant for producing a paper web and plant having the scraper bar
A scraper bar is used in a plant for producing a paper web with a sieve belt. The sieve belt is movable over the scraper bar transversely with respect to the longitudinal extent of the scraper bar. The scraper bar has wearing elements which face toward the sieve belt, are mounted on a supporting bar and are arranged one after the other in the direction of the longitudinal extent of the scraper bar. The supporting bar has supporting bar elements which are arranged one after the other in the longitudinal extent and which are preferably connected to one another and on which the wearing elements are fastened.
APPARATUS FOR MEASURING THE DEWATERING OF A PAPER MACHINE AT DIFFERENT POINTS OF THE WET END AND A METHOD FOR IMPLEMENTING IT
The object of the invention is an apparatus for measuring dewatering in the wet end of a paper machine. What is essential in the invention is that the apparatus comprises a measuring receptacle (15) functioning at normal air pressure, in which receptacle the amount of the water (7) of the negatively-pressurized dewatering points of the paper machine is measured by means of a pressure-difference transmitter (20) and of a measuring weir (8).

MONITORING SYSTEM, CONTROL SYSTEM, AND ACTUATION ASSEMBLY OF A PAPER MACHINE, AND A METHOD OF CONTOLLING
A monitoring system comprising: (a) one or more sensors that monitor activity, amplitude, size, scale, duration of activity or a combination thereof of stock on a paper machine and (b) a control system in communication with the one or more sensors and one or more foil sections within the paper machine; wherein the control system measures the activity, amplitude, size, scale, duration of activity or a combination thereof of the stock and correlates the activity, amplitude, size, scale, duration of activity or a combination thereof to formation of fibers within the stock so that an angle, height, or both of the one or more foil sections are adjusted to change the activity, amplitude, size, scale, duration of activity or a combination thereof in the stock.
