Manufacturing process for papermaking endless belts using 3D printing technology
An apparatus for producing endless 3-D printed belts using in papermaking and an apparatus for producing endless 3-D printed belts laminated to a substrate for additional strength and dimensional stability during use.
Press Felt
A press felt for use in paper, cardboard or tissue machines has at least one base fabric (110), and fiber layers (120, 121) attached to the base fabric (110). The press felt fiber layers (120, 121) include thermoplastic elastomer fibers of thermoplastic elastomer originating from bio-based raw material and/or carbon-dioxide based raw material.
Device and Method for Producing a Fibrous Web
A device and a method for producing a pulp web in which the first clothing and the second clothing are wrapped partly round the forming roll and another roll. The pulp web formed is guided between the forming roll and the other roll on the first clothing and the second clothing is guided separately from the first clothing, at least in one section. This enables the pulp web to be produced with low energy consumption and operating costs.

Machine and method for producing a fibrous web
A machine for producing a fibrous web, such as a tissue web, has pressing device with a pressing element and a counter-element with a closed surface for forming a pressure nip. A water-absorbing belt with a web side and an opposite pressing element side is guided together with the fibrous web through the pressure nip and the fibrous web is separated at the end of the pressure nip from the web side of the water-absorbing belt and runs further with the counter-element. The water-absorbing belt has at least a first ply and a second ply, and, as viewed in the thickness direction of the water-absorbing belt, a layer in or on the belt half which faces the pressing element, which layer has a higher specific throughflow resistance than the first ply and/or the second ply.
Compositions and methods for improved abrasion resistance of polymeric components
Described herein are component compositions comprising a blend of a polymer resin together with silica glass beads. In certain embodiments, the components demonstrate improved abrasion resistance as do the industrial fabrics produced that comprise at least one component of the instant disclosure.
Paper machine clothing and method of producing the same
A paper machine clothing has a substrate with an upper side, a lower side, two lateral edges and a usable region between the two lateral edges. The usable region is formed with a plurality of through-channels extending through the substrate and connecting the upper side with the lower side. The through-channels are non-cylindrical with a cross sectional area becoming smaller when going in a thickness direction of the substrate from the upper side to a middle region of the substrate between the upper side and the lower side, wherein a shape of the cross sectional area of at least one through-channel, preferably of all through-channels, of the plurality of through-channels changes proceeding in the thickness direction of the substrate from the upper side to the lower side.

PAPERMAKING BELT AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING PAPERMAKING BELT
A papermaking belt in which changes in surface properties of the resin layer upon use is suppressed, and a method for making the papermaking belt. Provided is a papermaking belt for use in a papermaking machine, including at least one resin layer including a resin, wherein the surface roughness after contacting the surface of the resin layer with a metal plate having a surface roughness equal to or less than 0.10 μm at a pressure of 100±3 kg/cm.sup.2 for 20 hours in warm water bathing at 70±5° C. is equal to or higher than 40% relative to the surface roughness of the surface of the resin layer in a wet state before the contact.
