Methods and apparatus for lowering intracranial and intraspinal cord pressure
Apparatus and methods are provided for applying negative pressure to tissues of a patient that are transmitted to the vertebral venous system of the patient and thereby lowering intracranial pressure. Intracranial pressure is thus lowered easily without increasing the work of breathing, without needing to be intubated, and without breathing through a valve in patients with elevated increased intracranial pressure.
Compression Wave Massage Device
A compression wave massage device for body parts is described, particularly for erogenous zones such as the clitoris, comprising a pressure field generation device and a drive device. The pressure field generation device has at least one cavity with a first end and a second end, located opposite the first end and distanced from said first end, with the first end being provided with at least one opening for placement on a body part. The drive device causes a change of the volume of at least one cavity between a minimal volume and a maximal volume such that in at least one opening a stimulating pressure field is generated. The cavity is formed by a single chamber, and the ratio of the volume change to the minimal volume is not below 1/10, preferably not below ⅛.
RIGIDIFYING BRACE
A brace for retaining an organ in an expanded state configured to adhere and substantially conform to an external surface of the organ includes an inner layer, an outer layer, and at least one sheet of thin malleable material forming a middle layer between the inner layer and outer layer, the at least one sheet being enclosed and configured to rigidify and maintain the organ in an expanded state upon application of a vacuum. The brace can be incorporated into a brassiere.
Medical drape with pattern adhesive layers and method of manufacturing same
A medical drape for use with a reduced pressure system for providing reduced pressure to a tissue site is described. In some embodiments, the drape may include a flexible film, and an adhesive layer coupled to the flexible film. The adhesive layer may include a first adhesive disposed on a first portion of the flexible film in a first pattern. The first adhesive can be configured to secure the flexible film proximate to the tissue site. The adhesive layer generally includes a second adhesive disposed on a second portion of the flexible film in a second pattern. The second adhesive can be configured to seal the flexible film proximate to the tissue site. The first pattern and the second pattern are preferably registered so that the first portion and the second portion are offset to cover substantially different portions of the flexible film.
MASSAGE DEVICE INTEGRATED WITH ELECTRICAL PRESSING,TAPPING AND VIBRATION FUNCTIONS
A massage device integrated with electrical pressing, tapping and vibration functions includes a main body including a PCB, a battery, a first vibration motor and a telescopic member, and a soft rubber shell surrounding around the main body; the PCB electrically connected to the battery and the first vibration motor connected with the telescopic member exposed the main body; the soft rubber shell including a massaging portion at an exposed position of the telescopic member, a bottom portion of the massaging portion connected with the telescopic member; the first vibration motor configured to rotate and vibrate to drive the telescopic member to reciprocate up and down and drive the massaging portion to press, pat and adsorb a portion touched with human body. The present structure can combine various massage ways to massage a sexual response area of the human body so as to strengthen massage effect and enhance massage experience.
PRESSURE THERAPY METHODS AND DEVICES FOR TREATING SPASTICITY
A method and related systems for treating and/or preventing spasticity in a patient using negative pressure therapy. The negative pressure therapy may include intermittent application of negative pressure to a limb or portion of a body, such as alternating between periods of negative pressure and ambient pressure. The negative pressure therapy may be applied on a regular basis for a predetermined period, such that an effective amount of negative pressure for treating spasticity and other symptoms of neurogenerative diseases is administered. The negative pressure therapy may be applied to cause intermittent activation of the venous arterial reflex in the body for a sustained period, such that symptoms of neurogenerative diseases are alleviated or prevented.
WEARABLE HEALTH MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
A wearable health management system includes a flexible member configured to be worn on an affected area by a patient. At least one actuator is operably coupled to the flexible member. The at least one actuator is configured to be adjusted between a deployed state and a non-deployed state. At least one of a photoplethysmogram sensor and a bioimpedance sensor is coupled to the flexible member to obtain one or more health metrics from the patient. A controller is in communication with the at least one actuator. The controller is configured to adjust the at least one actuator to the deployed state to provide a selected pressure to the affected area.
Method and system for regulating core body temperature
A method for maintaining and/or increasing body temperature of a patient may involve delivering heat to a first location on a limb of the patient, delivering heat to a second location on the limb, apart from the first location, and applying intermittent compression to a third location on the limb, located between the first location and the second location. A device for maintaining and/or increasing body temperature of a patient may include a sleeve for positioning over at least part of one of the patient's limbs, first and second heat delivery members coupled with the sleeve, and an intermittent compression member coupled with the sleeve between the first and second heat delivery members.
SYSTEM FOR TREATING PEYRONIES DISEASE
Systems and methods for treatment using acoustic shock waves within an enclosed negative pressure chamber to fragment or otherwise to modify plaque in a patient's penile shaft.
Swinging touch massage device
A swinging touch massage device includes a housing and a swing member received in the housing, the swing member including a rotary motor, a reversing member and a swing rod, two opposite ends of the reversing member respectively connected with the rotary motor and the swing rod, the reversing member configured to convert a rotary motion of the rotary motor into a reciprocating swing of the swing rod; a massage protrusion is arranged at one end of the swing rod away from the reversing member, and protrudes outwardly from a surface of the housing to swing back and forth with the swing rod. The massage device provides swing touch massage and improve massage experience without being jammed.
