Modifying humidity and convection to glabrous tissue to control metabolism
Systems and methods for affecting metabolism, such as the treatment of metabolic syndrome are disclosed. A method for treating metabolic syndrome can include one or more of the steps including identifying a region of the patient comprising glabrous tissue; positioning the region of the patient comprising glabrous tissue into an enclosed chamber; adjusting the relative humidity of the enclosed chamber sufficient to create a physiologic metabolic effect; and activating a convection fan within the chamber to promote heat transfer from the glabrous tissue. The method need not involve altering the temperature within the enclosed chamber.
VACUUM MASSAGER
A vacuum massager includes a housing having an upper portion and a lower portion, and a cup attachment arranged to be removably received on the lower portion of the housing. An air pump is disposed within the housing in fluid communication with the cup attachment for generating suction therein, such that contact of the cup attachment with a user's skin creates a vacuum within the cup attachment. A controller is disposed within the housing in electrical communication with the air pump. The vacuum massager further includes a cooling attachment interchangeable with the cup attachment and arranged to be removably received on the lower portion of the housing in electrical communication with the controller for cooling the user's skin.
Restorative apparatus with method for male tissue growth
An apparatus allows a method for encouraging tissue growth in the penis and strengthening male urinary continence. An activation module encompassing a vacuum chamber is operatively connected with a vacuum pump and a vibration motor. A control module directs the operations of the vacuum pump and vibration module such that vacuum and vibration are applied to a user's penis in the vacuum chamber. Proper order of application of intervals of vacuum and vibration over multiple cycles characterizes performing the methods of the invention. Applying appropriate levels of vacuum and vibration over cycles and intervals within cycles also characterizes the invention.
METHODS, SYSTEMS, APPARATUSES, AND DEVICES FOR FACILITATING APPLICATION OF VARYING PRESSURE TO A BODY OF AN INDIVIDUAL
Disclosed herein is an apparatus for facilitating application of varying pressure to a body of an individual, in accordance with some embodiments. Accordingly, the apparatus comprises pumps, actuators, and a valve. Further, the pumps are attached to the body using a coupling assembly. Further, the coupling assembly is configured to be attached to the body. Further, the coupling assembly comprises an interior cavity. Further, a first pump of the pumps is configured for drawing a first amount of air from the interior cavity. Further, a second pump of the pumps is configured for drawing a second amount of the air from the interior cavity and blowing a third amount of the air in the interior cavity. Further, the actuators are configured for actuating the pumps. Further, the valve is configured for allowing entering and exiting of an amount of the air from the interior cavity through the valve.
SYSTEM, APPARATUS, AND METHOD FOR SYNCHRONOUSLY CONTROLLING DEVICES
A system is disclosed. The system has an accessory control module, comprising computer-executable code stored in non-volatile memory, a processor, a user device of a human viewer, a viewer accessory configured to communicate with the user device, the viewer accessory including a first motor or a first heater, a model device of a human model, and a model accessory configured to communicate with the model device, the model accessory including a second motor or a second heater. The accessory control module, the processor, the user device, the viewer accessory, the model device, and the model accessory are configured to provide a chat communication application between the human viewer and the human model configured to provide chat between the human viewer via the user device and the human model via the model device.
SYSTEM, APPARATUS, AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING DEVICES BASED ON SOUND
The system has an accessory control module, comprising computer-executable code stored in non-volatile memory, a processor, a device of a human user, and an accessory configured to communicate with the device, the accessory including a motor or a heater. The accessory control module, the processor, the device, and the accessory are configured to receive or obtain audio data using the device, identify at least one parameter of the audio data, the at least one parameter having one or more parameter values, convert the one or more parameter values into one or more action signals, and control the motor or the heater using the one or more action signals to perform a predefined act of the accessory at a parameter-dependent intensity synchronously with receiving or obtaining the audio data. The predefined act sexually stimulates the human user.
CHAMBER CUSHION, SEAL AND USE THEREOF
A device and method for creating and/or maintain an obstruction free upper airway passage. The device configured to fit under the chin of a subject adjacent to the subject's at an external location corresponding approximately with the subject's internal soft tissue associated with the neck's anterior triangle. The device including structural elements designed to optimize comfort, compliance and seal achieved through minimizing the pressure variation along the contact surface of the cushion element. The structural elements of the cushion may include a fluidly sealed chamber that may vary in thickness and width, a compressible elastic foam contained within the fluidly sealed chamber a ribbon layer backing the elastic foam contained within the fluidly sealed chamber and an adhesive layer disposed on the outer surface of the fluidly sealed chamber of the therapy device designed to contact the skin of the subject.
Monitoring the cooling of subcutaneous lipid-rich cells, such as the cooling of adipose tissue
A system and method of monitoring, controlling and/or detecting events during the removal of heat from subcutaneous lipid-rich tissue is described. In some examples, the system detects an increase in temperature at a treatment device in contact with the skin of a subject, determines that the increase in temperature is related to a treatment event, and performs an action based on the determination. In some examples, the system shuts off the treatment device, alerts an operator, or reduces the cooling in response to a determined treatment event.
