COMPRESSION EXERTION DEVICE
Embodiments of the present invention are directed to devices, systems and methods adapted for implementing intermittent displacement of blood to mitigate peripheral nerve neuropathy such as that induced by chemotherapeutic agents (i.e., chemotherapy-induced neuropathy (CIN)) that are administered to a patient. Such devices, systems and methods advantageously provide for precise, uniform and controlled blood flow occluding (and optionally blood displacing) compression along irregular surfaces of an appendage of a patient. Such precise, uniform and controlled blood occluding compression is imparted upon the epidermal and dermis skin layers within the aforementioned areas of a patient’s extremities to decrease the time that free nerve endings located in the epidermal and encapsulated nerve endings located in the dermis skin layers are exposed to nerve damaging chemotherapy chemicals, thereby substantially decreasing CIN caused by prolonged exposure to such chemicals.
Wound therapy device and method
A wound therapy device and method includes a skin contacting element, a reactor, and a reactor housing element. The skin contacting element is configured for covering an associated tissue site, the reactor for creating a pressure condition at the associated tissue site upon actuation thereof, and the reactor housing element for accommodating the reactor. The skin contacting element has a skin contacting side and an interface side, which is opposite the skin contacting side. The reactor housing element has a lower affixing side and an upper side, which is opposite the lower affixing side.
Massage nozzle
A massage nozzle includes a nozzle housing and a nozzle core detachably attached in the nozzle housing. The nozzle housing is split-type and includes a cover mounted in a hole of a wall of a hot tub, a nozzle seat and a fastener. The cover includes an end ring and a side wall extending from the end ring. The side wall is conformed with the hole. The nozzle seat includes an inlet and a spray end which has a surface conformed with the side wall. The nozzle seat passes through and detachably connects with the cover. The outer circumferential surface of the spray end contacts with an inner surface of the side wall. The fastener is detachably sleeved on the outer circumferential surface of the nozzle seat and cooperates with the cover to fix the nozzle seat to the hot tub. The installation is convenient and the cost is reduced.
Wearable respiration management device
Various implementations include wearable devices and methods for managing respiration and user health. In some particular implementations, a wearable device includes: a mount sized to couple with a body part of a user; and a housing coupled with the mount. The housing at least partially contains: a contact element for applying pressure to the body part; and an actuator coupled with the contact element, the actuator configured to actuate the contact element in applying pressure to the body part according to a prescribed pattern. The prescribed pattern includes at least two repetitions, each repetition having: a first segment at a progressively increasing pressure; a second segment at a substantially constant pressure, following the first segment; a third segment at a progressively decreasing pressure, following the second segment; and a fourth segment at a substantially constant pressure that is less than the substantially constant pressure of the second segment.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR MASSAGE APPARATUS-BASED USER INFORMATION TRANSACTION
Provided are a method and a system for a massage apparatus-based user information transaction. According to one embodiment of the disclosure, a method for a massage apparatus-based user information transaction includes the steps of: inquiring whether a user gives prior-consent to provision of user information to the outside; if the user gives prior consent to the provision of user information to the outside, collecting, from the massage apparatus, user information including the user's biometric information, and storing same; providing the stored user information to a third party company server; calculating an amount of money to be paid to the user in accordance with the provision of the user information to the outside; and paying the calculated amount of money to the relevant user's account.
SHOCK WAVE APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR TREATING A HUMAN OR ANIMAL BODY
A pressure wave device for the treatment of a human or animal body having a pneumatic drive for generating a pressure wave for coupling into the human or animal body, having at least one compressor for generating source gas and having a handpiece into which the source gas can be introduced and by means of which a pressure wave is generated, and having a pressure regulating device for adjusting a pressure wave generating pressure for generating the pressure wave, where the at least one compressor for generating source gas is adjustable in steps to at least two power levels, and the pressure regulating device regulates the pressure wave generating pressure (P.sub.D_i) by adjusting the source gas pressure (P.sub.s_i) at each power level, such that each power level is thereby preferably determined by a range of pressure wave generating pressure values and frequencies of the activation of the pressure waves, and the selection of a power level is preferably carried out using a table in which the respective ranges of pressure wave generating pressure values and frequencies are stored.
Foot Care Equipment
The new invention foot-care equipment unit is directly related to foot problems and cures from pain, numbness, stiffness, swelling, athlete's foot, blisters, bunios, corns, plantar fasciitis, heel spur, mallet or hammer toe, gout, ingrown toenail, nail hardening, fungal nail infection, plantar wart, stone bruise, morton neuroma, sesamoidits, poor blood circulation, crack heals, blood clots in the foot vain or excessive sweat, and or bad odours are common symptom of foot related issues or causes of poor foot health. The foot-care equipment a hands free solution for practicing random or regularly use of equipment for steaming, fermenting, massaging, cleaning and sanitizing, air blow drying, sterilizing and or scrubbing of foot or the feet's for cure or general health and hygiene as therapy or treatment. The foot-care equipment unit may comprise of semi-automatically functional in cleaning, sanitizing and sterilizing, and or drying of its equipment components for users.
SEAT ASSEMBLY WITH MASSAGE
A seat assembly is provided with a seat frame and a seat support. A plurality of linear actuators or a camshaft are supported on the frame and oriented toward the seat support surface to each provide a localized percussive massage upon the seated occupant. Alternatively, a guide is supported upon the seat frame. A plurality of massage plates is provided on the guide. A plurality of massage nodes is each provided on one of the plurality of massage plates so that compression upon each massage plate flexes a region of each massage plate to extend each massage node forward to provide a localized massage upon the seated occupant.
