Method of producing a fibrous product and a fibrous product
The present invention relates to multi-layer fiber products and a method of manufacturing these kinds of products. The present product comprises a first layer consists mainly of natural fibers and a second, heat-sealing layer located on top of the first layer. The heat-sealing layer consists mainly of synthetic thermoplastic fibers or particles. According to the present method, the heat-sealing layer is brought onto the first layer already during the web forming process, the first and the second layers being formed and joined together in a foam forming process. With the present invention, it is possible to decrease the amount of plastic materials in packaging materials having heat-sealing properties.

Fibrous body manufacturing apparatus and fibrous body manufacturing method
A fibrous body manufacturing apparatus for manufacturing a fibrous body includes an accumulating section that accumulates a sheet-shaped fibrous material containing a plurality of fibers, a droplet discharging section that discharges, as droplets, a binding material that binds the fibers of the accumulated fibrous material to each other, and a control section which segments a region in which the liquid is dischargeable onto the fibrous material into a plurality of segments, generates discharge data in which discharge information on the liquid is set for every one of the plurality of segments, and causes the liquid to be discharged from the droplet discharging section toward the fibrous material based on the discharge data.

Sheet manufacturing apparatus
A sheet manufacturing apparatus includes: a defibration unit that defibrates a raw material containing fibers in a gas atmosphere; and a sheet former that forms a sheet by using at least a part of defibrated substances obtained through a defibrating process performed by the defibration unit. The defibration unit and the sheet former are thermally blocked from each other.
