FRAMED POSTER BOARD THAT REFLECTS AND REFRACTS LIGHT AS COLOR HUES
A poster board whose central region is thicker than its peripheral region. The peripheral region having a reflective and refractive surface that provides iridescent color hues within a rainbow spectrum. The reflective and refractive surface may contain a holographic pattern of geometric shapes of different sizes and shapes. The reflective and refractive surface may give rise to spaced apart bands with each of the bands containing the rainbow spectrum of color hues.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING A TEXTURED COATING
The present invention relates in particular to a method and a device for a spatially resolved production of a location dependent textured coating. The method includes the steps of provisioning a two-dimensional representation, evaluating a data record of the two-dimensional representation, determining local structures of the two-dimensional representation, determining the type and location of at least one texture that is produced on at least one region of the two-dimensional representation, provisioning a fluid coating material, and applying the fluid coating material to at least one region of the two-dimensional representation.
Decorative paper for resin-impregnated decorative plate, resin-impregnated decorative paper, and resin-impregnated decorative plate
A base paper (6), a picture pattern layer (7) provided on a surface (6a) side of the base paper (6), and foaming agents (8) arranged on a surface (7a) of the picture pattern layer (7) or in the picture pattern layer (7) are provided. In the foaming agents (8), the average particle diameter after foaming is set to 15 m or more and 250 m or less and the foaming start temperature is set to 100 C. or more and 220 C. or less.
SURFACING MATERIALS AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURE
A textured release sheet includes a substrate, which has been electron beam treated, including a top side and a bottom side. A matte surface is formed on the bottom side thereof, wherein the matte surface of the surfacing material is a coating of an radiation curable material applied to the bottom side of the substrate. The coating is an UV curable acrylate mixture applied to the substrate, wherein the UV curable acrylate mixture is irradiated with UV-radiation via an excimer laser emitter to produce a UV-irradiated layer wherein the UV curable acrylate mixture is only crosslinked on the surface thereof, which produces a matting surface through the effects of a micro-convolution.
Security document having enhanced foil durability
A security document, along with its methods of formation, is provided. The security document may include a base sheet, a colored coating on the base sheet, a foil laminate on at least a portion of the colored coating, and an outer lacquer coating over the colored coating such that the foil laminate is embedded between the colored coating and the outer lacquer coating. The outer lacquer coating may include a polymeric resin, and may also include a crosslinking agent and a wetting agent.

Packaging Material With Absorption Features
A packaging material for forming a construct for holding a food product. The packaging material can comprise at least a base layer and a coating on a face of the base layer. Absorption features can extend in at least one of the coating and the base layer for allowing fluids to pass to an interior of the base layer.
Method for the manufacturing of a polymer product with super- or highly hydrophobic characteristics, a product obtainable from said method and use thereof
The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a polymer product with super- or highly hydrophobic characteristics, preferably in the form of a film. Also methods for the manufacturing of a laminate and a polymer coated paper or board product, respectively, both having said characteristics, are disclosed. The present invention also relates to products obtainable by said methods and uses thereof.
