Sanitary Tissue Product with a Shaped Line of Weakness
A roll of sanitary tissue product that includes a shaped line of weakness, wherein the roll of sanitary tissue product exhibits a roll compressibility of from about 7%, and the sanitary tissue product has a Full Sheet Average Trapezoidal Tear Strength of about 8 g to about 20 g, as measured by the Full Sheet Average Trapezoidal Tear Force Method.
Process for producing nonwoven
A process for producing nonwoven materials is provided. The process includes: providing a three-phase (gas-liquid-solid) suspension, providing a first moving carrier sieve, applying the three-phase suspension onto the first moving carrier sieve to produce a fibrous web, removing aqueous residue of the three-phase suspension through the first carrier sieve, recycling the aqueous residue, pre-integrating the fibrous web by flushing the web with water and collecting flushed water, transferring the pre-integrated fibrous web from the first moving carrier sieve to a second moving carrier sieve, and hydroentangling the fibrous web. The three-phase suspension contains natural and/or manmade fibres, a surfactant, and air.
EXPANDED SLIT SHEET CUSHIONING PRODUCTS WITH NOVEL REDUCED DIMENSION SLIT PATTERNS
In the preferred embodiments, the present invention provides substantially improved slit sheet cushioning products by advantageously combining novel paper properties with novel slit patterns for improved features and characteristics. In some illustrative and non-limiting example embodiments, cushioning products of the present invention can include, e.g., a novel slit sheet material in combination with extensible paper employed as, e.g., a cushioning pad or as cushioning within an envelope product, wherein the cushioning product can be substantially more resilient, but, yet, e.g., thinner for better utilization of space.
Process for Making Multi-Ply Fibrous Structure Containing Articles
Articles, for example multi-ply fibrous structure-containing articles such as multi-ply sanitary tissue products, containing two or more fibrous structure plies, and more particularly to multi-ply articles containing two or more fibrous structure plies having a plurality of fibrous elements wherein the articles exhibit improved bulk and absorbent properties compared to known articles and methods for making same, are provided.
Composition and method of producing a creping paper and the creping paper thereof
The present disclosure provides for a composition and method of producing a creped paper and the creped paper products made using this method. The method includes treating the surface of a wet fibrous web and/or surface of a Yankee drum dryer or cylinder with compositions containing a combination of a polyaminosilicone/polyaminosilicone block copolymer/surfactant and optionally one or more creping aids.
Methods of making paper products using a patterned cylinder
A method of making a molded paper web includes bringing a permeable patterned surface of a patterned cylinder into contact with a nascent web and conveying the nascent web between a transfer surface and the permeable patterned surface over an arc length of the permeable patterned surface. The arc length forms at least a portion of a molding zone. The method also includes applying a vacuum over at least a portion of the arc length. The method further includes transferring the nascent web from the transfer surface to the permeable patterned surface of the patterned cylinder in the molding zone. The vacuum is applied during the transferring of the nascent web from the transfer surface to the permeable patterned surface of the patterned cylinder.
CELLULOSE MATERIALS AND METHODS OF MAKING AND USING THE SAME
The present disclosure provides materials such as cellulose based materials and composite materials. Also provided herein are methods for making or using the materials.
Multi-Ply Fibrous Structure-Containing Articles
Articles, for example multi-ply fibrous structure-containing articles such as multi-ply sanitary tissue products, containing two or more fibrous structure plies, wherein at least one of the fibrous structure plies is embossed and is bonded to at least one other fibrous structure ply by a water-resistant bond such that void volume is created between the bonded fibrous structure plies.
YANKEE DRYER PROFILER AND CONTROL
A method for creping paper includes applying an adhesive composition to an outer surface of a creping cylinder (Yankee cylinder) to form an adhesive coating, contacting paper with the adhesive coating, removing the paper and adhesive coating from the creping cylinder, and determining a quality of the adhesive coating. Determining the quality of the adhesive coating may include measuring a degree of cross-linking of the adhesive polymer, a concentration of the adhesive polymer in the adhesive coating, a water content of the adhesive coating, an ash content of the adhesive coating, or combinations thereof. Determining the quality of the adhesive coating may also include determining a thickness of the adhesive coating by measuring light absorbed by the coating and calculating the thickness using Beer's Law. Systems and apparatuses for determining the quality of the adhesive coating and for creping paper are also disclosed.
Sanitary Tissue Product with a Shaped Line of Weakness
A web of sanitary tissue of the present disclosure may comprise a shaped line of weakness, wherein the toilet tissue exhibits a Line of Weakness Performance Factor (LWP Factor) of from about 7 to about 30, and a Full Sheet Average Trapezoidal Tear Strength of between about 8 g and about 20 g according to the Full Sheet Average Trapezoidal Tear Force Test Method.
