POLYETHYLENE TEREPHTHALATE COLORING SYSTEMS AND RELATED METHODS
A method of manufacturing a plurality of colors of bulked continuous carpet filament from a single multi-screw extruder which, in various embodiments, comprises: (A) passing PET through an extruder that melts the PET and purifies the resulting PET polymer melt; (B) adding a liquid colorant to the polymer melt using a liquid metering system; (C) using one or more static mixers (e.g., up to forty static mixers) to substantially uniformly mix (e.g., homogeneously mix) the polymer melt and the liquid colorant; and (D) feed the uniformly mixed and colored polymer melt into a spinning machines that turns the polymer into filament for use in manufacturing carpet, rugs, and other products.
POLYMER MATERIAL COMPRISING AT LEAST ONE DIFFERENT DOPING ELEMENT, USES AND PRODUCTION METHOD
A polymer material comprises one or more different doping elements. The or at least one of the different doping elements at least partially absorbs an electromagnetic radiation emitted by a human or animal body and at least partially emits an electromagnetic radiation in an infrared range, preferably in an infrared C range. A textile material comprises the polymer material according to the invention. The invention further relates to medical and non-medical uses of the polymer material according to the invention and to a manufacturing method of the polymer material according to the invention.
POLYETHYLENE TEREPHTHALATE COLORING SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Systems for manufacturing bulked continuous filament having tonal coloring from PET comprise, in various embodiments: (1) an extruder; (2) a static mixing assembly coupled to the extruder comprising: (a) a housing, and (b) one or more individual static mixing elements disposed within the housing; (3) a plurality of colorant ports along a length of the static mixing assembly such that each of the plurality of colorant ports is configured to provide colorant to a polymer stream at a different location along the length of the static mixing assembly; and (4) one or more spinning machines positioned downstream of the static mixing assembly and coupled to the static mixing assembly to receive the colored polymer stream. The spinning machine(s) may be configured to form the colored polymer stream into bulked continuous carpet filament having a tonal color effect.

DEODORIZING NYLON 6 FIBER AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF
A preparation method of a deodorizing nylon 6 fiber including providing a fabricating step of deodorizing nylon 6 chips and performing a spinning step. A porous powder of citrate is mixed with a caprolactam powder so as to obtain a raw material of a deodorizing chip. The raw material of the deodorizing chip is ground so as to obtain a size mixture of a deodorizing nylon 6. The size mixture of the deodorizing nylon 6 is polymerized so as to obtain the deodorizing nylon 6 chips. In the spinning step, a spinning material including the deodorizing nylon 6 chips is provided. The spinning material is spun so as to obtain a deodorizing nylon 6 fiber.
