Polyurethane urea elastic yarn having improved dyeability and manufacturing method therefor
The present invention relates to a polyurethane urea elastic yarn having improved dyeability and a manufacturing method therefor. Through a process of forming a prepolymer by mixing polyethyleneglycol with polyol and then adding diisocyanate to the same in a prepolymer manufacturing step during the manufacture of a polyurethane urea elastic yarn, the hydrophilicity of the polyurethane urea elastic yarn is improved such that the accessibility of an acid dye is enhanced, thereby enabling the dyeability of the polyurethane urea elastic yarn to be enhanced and an advantage of dye color deepening of a fabric, in which nylon and a polyurethane urea elastic yarn are knitted together, to be expected.
TRACEABLE GASKET AND COMPRESSION PACKING MATERIAL
A material that includes traceable particles that retain information about the fabrication of the material, which can be used to trace the origin thereof. The material may form gaskets, which are used to seal flanged joints in the food and beverage industry, and compression packings, which are used for sealing near valve stems, pump shafts, and similar machines.
Polyethylene terephthalate coloring systems and methods
Method and system for manufacturing bulked continuous filament having tonal coloring from PET comprising: an extruder (202); a static mixing assembly (208) coupled to the extruder and comprising a housing and one or more individual static mixing elements disposed within the housing; the method and system further comprising a plurality of colorant ports along a length of the static mixing assembly such that each of the plurality of colorant ports is configured to provide colorant (204) to a polymer stream at a different location along the length of the static mixing assembly, and one or more spinning machines (212) positioned downstream of the static mixing assembly and coupled to the static mixing assembly to receive the colored polymer stream. The spinning machine(s) may be configured to form the colored polymer stream into bulked continuous carpet filament having a tonal color effect.

A METHOD OF PREPARING DOPE DYED LYOCELL FIBRE
A process for obtaining a dope dyed lyocell fibre can include the steps of (a) mixing one or more pigment with an aqueous organic solvent to obtain a slurry; (b) applying vacuum to said slurry to remove excess water content to obtain a masterbatch (c) mixing the masterbatch obtained in step (b) to a lyocell dope to obtain a pigmented dope; and (d) extruding said pigmented dope of step (c) through a spinneret to form dope dyed lyocell fiber.

FLAME RESISTANT FABRICS HAVING FIBERS CONTAINING ENERGY ABSORBING AND/OR REFLECTING ADDITIVES
Embodiments of the invention relate to flame resistant fabrics containing fibers having at least one energy absorbing and/or reflecting additive incorporated into the fibers. Inclusion of such fibers into the fabric increases the arc rating/fabric weight ratio of the fabric while still complying with all requisite thermal protective requirements.
FABRIC AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
The disclosure provides a fabric suitable for an inner light cloth of advertisements. The fabric includes a yarn woven into the fabric with a whiteness of at least greater than 90%, in which the yarn is composed of fibers made from a white masterbatch. A manufacturing method of a fabric suitable for an inner light cloth of advertisements is also provided.
POLYMER FIBER WITH ADDITIVE AND METHODS AND ARTICLES RELATED THERETO
Described is a fiber containing at least one polymer and at least one additive. The concertation of the additive is not constant throughout the fiber, but changes along the length of the fiber. Also disclosed is a method of making a fiber.
