APPARATUS FOR TREATING MYOFASCIAL POINTS
A myofascial release apparatus (MRA) for relieving at least one hyperirritable area via the vibrational energy in one of interior to an oral cavity and exterior to the oral cavity. MRA may include a handle and a motor that is operably engaged with the handle and is configured to generate a mechanical energy. MRA may also include a drive assembly that is operably engaged with the motor and the handle and is configured to generate a vibrational energy. MRA may also include an electrical control assembly that is electrically connected with the motor for controlling said motor. MRA may also include at least one head component operably connected with the handle and the drive assembly. The at least one head component is removable from the handle and the motor and is configured to relieve at least one hyperirritable area via the vibrational energy.
Personal care device
This invention relates to a device (1) for performing personal care operations on a subject. The device (1) comprises a handheld base body (3), a driving unit (400) to receive and drive an interchangeable treatment head (2) to perform the personal care operation, a sensor (7) for measuring the amount of current drawn from a motor arrangement (5, 6) while the driving unit (400) is being operated. The device (1) further comprises a control unit (8) operably connected to the sensor (7) and the driving unit (400) and configured to control the driving unit (400). The control unit (8) is configured to identify the individual treatment head (2) fitted on the driving unit (400) by comparing the measured motor current at the predefined measuring time (t1) with at least one predefined current threshold (C).
MUSICAL TEETHER
The invention is concerned with a musical teether for infant. It has a body member including one or more regions or projections on which an infant can bite in use for soothing purpose and a musical unit. The body member is configured to receive or otherwise accommodate the musical unit which is removably engageable with the body member. The teether further has means for transmitting vibrational musical signal from the musical unit to the body member for onward transmission to teeth of the infant, then to jaw bones and skull of the infant, and then to ear bones of the infant, such that the infant can, while biting on the teeth, receive vibrational musical signal arisen from direct vibration on the ear bones of the infant.
HANDHELD MASSAGE DEVICE
Disclosed is an electronic handheld device for performing a massage on a user. The device comprises a pair of handles that are substantially parallel to one another, each handle comprising a top and a bottom extremity, a shaft unit housing a shaft comprising a free extremity, the free extremity extending beyond the shaft unit, the shaft being substantially perpendicular to the pair of handles, a motor unit housing a motor, which drives the shaft, a trigger disposed on the primary handle, a trigger disposed in operative communication with the motor wherein, actuating the trigger results in the activation of the motor, and a massage head adapted to be mounted to the free extremity of the shaft whereby, the motion of the shaft is imparted to the massage head at which point, the massage head is applied over the skin of a user.
Apparatus and method for treating a patient using vibration stimuli, tactile stimuli and/or thermal stimuli
A device and method are provided for treating a patient with vibration and/or tactile and/or thermal stimuli. The device includes first and second stimulating units for generating first and second stimuli respectively. The stimuli are vibration and/or tactile and/or thermal stimuli, and each of the stimuli is repeated on average at a frequency of 1 to 60 Hz. The stimuli are generated partly at different times.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PERFORMING TISSUE TREATMENT USING POWERED TREATMENT DEVICES
A treatment system for restructuring and revitalizing fascia tissue. The treatment system may include a base station that powers tissue treatment devices that are used to treat fascia or other tissue of patients. The tissue treatment devices may be powered devices, and include actuators that are used to move tissue treatment elements. The actuators may be motors that cause an effector inclusive of a support structure, such as a disc or other shaped structural member, on which the tissue treatment elements are connected or formed. In an embodiment, the effector may be a unitary piece, where a support structure and protrusions or fingers extend. Alternatively, the fingers may be detachably coupled to the support structure. The fingers may have a base that connects to or is integrated with the support structure, curved shafts, and rounded tips.
In VIVO DEVICE AND METHOD OF USING THE SAME
The vibration capsule device disclosed herein comprises a movement generation unit, a movement control unit, a wireless communication unit and a power supply. The movement control unit provides instructions to the movement generation unit, which generates movements in configurable frequencies and duty cycles. The power supply unit provides power to the movement generation unit through movement control unit, which also decides work period and rest period for the capsule device. The vibration capsule device further comprises a capsule movement detection unit, which comprises at least one sensor unit and provides information to the wireless communication unit.
Pain management device
The invention relates to a pain management device with a body portion having an hourglass shaped, elongated handle with an arm at one end for releasably attaching one or more treatment attachments, one or more generally planar scraping wings for Gua Sha treatment, and a motor inside configured to impart vibration in each of several modes optimized for vibration therapy. The invention may also include a kit with the pain management device, and one or more treatment attachments designed for unilateral or bilateral vibration application adjacent to trigeminal and/or vagus nerves. The treatment attachment may have two or more pivotable arms that extend along an axis generally perpendicular to the elongated handle when attached to the pain management device.
Variable stroke percussive massage device
An adjustable stroke percussion massage device includes a stroke arm having a first end connected to a percussion massage head. A pin extends outward at a second end of the stroke arm. A cam has a cam slot formed into the cam such that the pin fits into the cam slot. The cam slot has a length, where the pin is movable from a first end of the cam slot to a second end of the cam slot, where the pin is a first distance from a rotation axis of the cam when positioned at the first end of the cam slot, and the pin is a second distance from the rotation axis of the cam when positioned at the second end of the cam slot. A motor is operable to rotate the cam about the rotation axis, moving the stroke arm along a vibration axis.
