Method for Maintaining Spinning Units of a Spinning Machine along with a Spinning Machine
A method and associated spinning machine for maintaining spinning units of the spinning machine includes a plurality of the spinning units arranged next to one another and at least one maintenance device that is movable along the spinning units to perform maintenance procedures on the spinning units. Prior to maintenance of a spinning unit by the maintenance device, a housing of the spinning unit is opened. Subsequently, the maintenance is performed and then the housing is closed. One or both of the opening and the closing of the housing is carried out autonomously with a sealing device operably configured at the spinning unit.
WORKSTATION OF A TWO-FOR-ONE TWISTING OR CABLING MACHINE
A workstation (1) of a two-for-one twisting or cabling machine which comprises a rotatably mounted spindle (2) and a balloon-yarn-guide-eye (9) height-adjustable by means of a drive (18, 29) coupled to a control device (20) which controls the drive (18, 29) in such a manner that it displaces the balloon-yarn-guide-eye (9) between operating positions (AP.sub.1, AP.sub.2) dependent upon production parameters and a resting position (RS) advantageous in the case of production interruptions and transient operating phases associated with the latter. A device (21, 23, 24, 25) is present for detecting a measured value (i), which is made available to the control device (20) and which causes the control of the drive (18, 29) to change the position of the balloon-yarn-guide-eye (9).
METHOD FOR OPERATING A SPINDLE OF A TWO-FOR-ONE TWISTING OR CABLING MACHINE
A method for operating a spindle (2) of a two-for-one twisting or cabling machine which comprises an adjustable balloon-yarn-guide-eye (9), wherein for the operation of the spindle (2) under production conditions, the balloon-yarn-guide-eye (9) is adjusted, on the basis of a measured value (i) correlating with the energy consumption of the spindle drive (3), to a first operating position (AP.sub.1), in which a position-dependent minimum of the energy consumption of the spindle drive (3) is reached.
Changing Element for a Spinning Machine, and Spinning Machine Equipped with said Changing Element
The present invention relates to a traversing element (1) for a spinning machine (26), wherein the traversing element (1) comprises a guide segment (2) by means of which a roving (3) may be guided in the region of a surface of a tube (4) or of a roving bobbin (5), and wherein the traversing element (1) comprises a support segment (6) via which it may be connected to a support member (7) of the spinning machine (26). According to the invention it is suggested that the traversing element (1) comprises at least one cavity (8) that is closed with respect to the outside and is partially filled with a liquid (9), wherein heat that occurs in the region of the guide segment (2) due to friction between the guide segment (2) and the roving (3) guided by the guide segment (2) when the traversing element (1) is operating may be absorbed by the liquid (9). In addition, a spinning machine (26) having a corresponding traversing element (2) is proposed.
