A surface skin with which a foamed body is integrally foam-molded and which covers the foamed body includes: a plurality of surface skin members; a first thread passing through at least a part of a needle hole extended through the surface skin members so as to sew the surface skin members together; and a second thread inter-looping or interlacing with the first thread so as to sew the surface skin members together in cooperation with the first thread. The first thread is threaded through an eye of a needle. The second thread is formed by warp weaving or braiding polyester or nylon fiber pieces and is stretchable enough to fill in the needle hole.

ARRANGEMENT COMPRISING A VISIBLE SEAM AND A LIGHTING APPARATUS, USE THEREOF, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE ARRANGEMENT

The invention relates to an arrangement comprising a visible seam, which is arranged in a sheet material part. The arrangement also includes a lighting apparatus, which is arranged beneath an underside of the sheet material part. The visible seam has an upper thread and a lower thread. The lower thread extends along the underside of the sheet material part in a direction (R). The upper thread has first thread portions along the upper side of the sheet material part and is guided, at stitch holes formed during the sewing process, through said stitch holes via second thread portions. By means of the lighting apparatus, emitted light passes into the second thread portions, into the stitch holes, and from there into the first thread portions. Some of the light propagates along the first thread portions, starting from an adjacent second thread portion, whereas another portion of the light exits from the first thread portion. In this way, the upper thread of the visible seam is illuminated.

ADHESIVE RIBBON YARN

A ribbon yarn having an upper side and a lower side, filaments and at least one binder material, the binder material binding the filaments to one another and the upper side and/or the lower side of the ribbon yarn having a pressure-sensitive adhesive. The filaments of the ribbon yarn can consist only of one material or of different materials and they can be arranged in one layer or in multiple layers. The pressure-sensitive adhesive can be applied on the upper side and/or lower side of the ribbon yarn or can be a constituent of the binder material.

AIRBAG FABRIC

An airbag fabric made of polyamide filaments, wherein the polyamide filaments are made of at least 60% by weight of a bio-based monomer.

Process for the Production of a Low-Shrinkage Aliphatic Polyamide Yarn

A process for production of a low-shrinkage aliphatic polyamide fibre, in which polyamide is extruded through a spinneret to form filaments, then cooled and combined to form at least one yarn. The at least one yarn is subjected to drawing between the spinneret and a pair of inlet rolls, then in a further multi-stage drawing step is subjected to 4-fold to 6-fold drawing by pairs of draw rolls. The pairs of draw rolls successively heat the yarn and at least the last pair of draw rolls has a temperature of 5° C. to 20° C. below the melting point of the yarn. The yarn is relaxed by from 6% to 10% in a subsequent at least three-stage relaxation zone and is kept in a temperature range of 5° C. to 15° C. below the melting point of the yarn, and is subsequently wound up on a reel device.

Knit tubular protective sleeve and method of construction thereof

A knit sleeve for providing thermal protection about an elongate member contained therein and method of construction thereof is provided. The sleeve includes a knit inner wall with opposite edges extending lengthwise between opposite ends and a circumferentially continuous tubular outer wall knit integrally with the inner wall. The outer wall bounds a central cavity that extends lengthwise along a central axis between open opposite ends of the outer wall. The opposite edges of the inner wall are substantially parallel to the central axis and are wrappable toward one another to form the inner wall as being tubular. The circumferentially continuous tubular outer wall is configured to be everted about the wrapped inner wall to circumferentially surround and protect the inner wall from abrasion and provide the sleeve with a dual layer wall.

Skin material for vehicle interior

A skin material for vehicle interior is bonded to a resinous vehicle interior base. The skin material for vehicle interior includes a woven fabric woven by using synthetic resin fibers, side emission type optical fibers, and heat fusible fibers as warps or wefts. The synthetic resin fibers and the side emission type optical fibers adjacent to the synthetic resin fibers are bonded in respective longitudinal directions thereof by the heat fusible fibers. Even when a plurality of the side emission type optical fibers are woven between the adjacent synthetic resin fibers, the adjacent side emission type optical fibers may be bonded to each other in the longitudinal direction by the heat fusible fibers. The heat fusible fibers may be obtained by twisting multifilaments and heat fusion yarns having a melting point lower than that of the multifilaments, and the multifilaments remain as constituent yarns after the bonding.

RUBBER-REINFORCING CORD, METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME, AND RUBBER PRODUCT

A rubber-reinforcing cord (12) of the present invention includes at least three strands. Each of the strands includes at least one filament bundle and a first coating provided to cover at least a portion of the surface of the filament bundle. The filament bundle consists essentially of aramid fiber filaments. The mass of the first coating is in the range of 14 to 25% with respect to the mass of the filament bundle. Each of the strands is given primary twists at a primary twisting rate of 50 to 100 twists/m. The at least three strands each given primary twists are assembled and given final twists at a final twisting rate of 120 to 200 twists/m.
