Core wire for friction transmission belts, friction transmission belt, and manufacturing methods therefor
The present invention relates to a core wire for a frictional power-transmission belt, the core wire including a Lang lay cord, having a total fineness of 300 to 1000 tex, and including a rubber component adhered to at least a part of a surface of the core wire, in which the Lang lay cord comprises a first-twisted yarn, and in which the first-twisted yarn comprises a carbon fiber.
THIN-WALLED COMPOSITE PRODUCT REINFORCED BY HYBRID YARNS AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SUCH A PRODUCT
A thin-walled organic-matrix composite product reinforced by yarns, the yarns compromising hybrid yarns, the hybrid yarns having a core made of a first material having a density less than 1500 kg/m3 and a cover covering the core, the cover being produced from a second material, the second material being different from the first material and having a longitudinal Young's modulus greater than 25 GPa, and the composite product having at least one ribbed face, the ribs being created at least partially by the hybrid yarns.
Fugitive fiber commingling to provide loft in ceramic fiber tows
A method of making a ceramic fiber tow and the system regarding the same may be included. The method may include commingling a plurality of ceramic fibers with a fugitive fiber to form a single ceramic fiber tow. The fugitive fiber may be positioned between at least two ceramic fibers included in the single ceramic fiber tow. The method may further include forming a porous ceramic preform including at least the single ceramic fiber tow. The method may further include removing the fugitive fiber from the ceramic fiber tow leaving a space between at least two ceramic fibers of the single ceramic fiber tow. The method may further include replacing the spaces between ceramic fibers included in the ceramic fiber tows with a ceramic matrix.
Twisted Cord for Core Wire of Transmission Belt, Manufacturing Method and Use of Same, and Transmission Belt
The present invention relates to a twisted cord for constituting a core wire of a power-transmission belt, the twisted cord including a plurality of primary twisted yarns that are bundled and secondarily-twisted, in which when secondary twist is untwisted by 25 cm, a difference in length between the longest primary twisted yarn L and the shortest primary twisted yarn S among the plurality of primary twisted yarns is 1 to 10 mm.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING FIBER COMPOSITE FOR REINFORCING CONCRETE, AND CONCRETE COMPRISING FIBER COMPOSITE MANUFACTURED THEREBY
The purpose of the present application is to provide a fiber composite for reinforcing concrete, the fiber composite providing a specific number of twists so as to have pull-out resistance in concrete, being capable of serving as a concrete reinforcement since hydrophilic compound, which can bind to concrete by hydrogen bonding, is coated on concrete and the fiber composite, maintaining the shape of fibers when mixed into concrete, reducing a rebound rate during shotcrete placing, and maintaining linearity within concrete.
CEMENT MORTAR COMPOSITION REINFORCED WITH SHREDDED WASTE FISHING NET AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING SAME
This application relates to a cement mortar composition reinforced with a shredded waste fishing net and a method of manufacturing the cement mortar composition. In one aspect, the cement mortar composition includes cement mortar including cement, fine aggregate, and water and 0.5 to 2.0 parts by weight of a fibrous reinforcing material based on 100 parts by weight of the cement mortar. The fibrous reinforcing material may be manufactured by shredding a knotless fishing net and being formed of a single yarn that has a length of 3 mm to 60 mm and a diameter of 0.1 mm to 1 mm. The cement mortar composition that has improved crack resistance and tensile strength and in which an environmentally friendly and inexpensive reinforcing material obtained by shredding a waste fishing net at a random length instead of existing highly-expensive reinforcing material is included may be realized.
STRAND
A strand, which is a resin strand used as an additive manufacturing raw material for a 3D printer and formed in a linear shape, the strand having a spiral groove portion formed on an outer peripheral surface along an axial direction.
Cartridge filter using nanofiber composite fiber yarn and method for manufacturing same
Provided is a cartridge filter using nanofiber composite fiber yarn, the cartridge filter including: a core having a plurality of holes through which a liquid passes; and a filter medium wound around the core to collect an object to be filtered contained in the liquid, wherein the filter medium comprises composite fiber yarn in which a nanofiber web which is produced by accumulating nanofibers produced by an electrospinning method is laminated to a porous nonwoven fabric, to thus provide excellent durability and improved filtration performance.
Method for manufacturing a three-dimensional structure
Provided is the method for manufacturing a three-dimensional structure with a less amount of internal voids or bubbles, and also to provide a 3D printer filament used for manufacturing such three-dimensional structure. The method for manufacturing a three-dimensional structure, the method comprises melting and depositing a filament using a 3D printer, the filament comprising a commingled yarn that contains a continuous reinforcing fiber (A) and a continuous thermoplastic resin fiber (B), with a dispersity of the continuous reinforcing fiber (A) in the commingled yarn of 60 to 100%.
