A sleeve for the construction of a hose pipe extends about a longitudinal axis. The sleeve has greater elongation capacities in one direction than in the other with respect to the longitudinal axis.

Inflatable structural member

A structural member includes an inflatable bladder. The structural member may include a fabric shell disposed about an exterior surface of the bladder, or a spacer element attached to an interior surface of the bladder. The fabric shell or spacer element restrains the shape of the bladder to contour the bladder into a desired shape and increase the load carrying capacity of the bladder.

MULTIPLE CHAMBER FOLDED INNERDUCT STRUCTURE
20200199793 · 2020-06-25 ·

A flexible innerduct structure having a first margin region, a second margin region, and a middle region, where the middle region is located between the first and second margin regions. The innerduct structure contains at least two flexible, longitudinal chambers, with each chamber being designed for enveloping at least one cable.

The flexible innerduct structure contains at least one strip-shaped textile, each strip containing a first side and a second edge and extending in the longitudinal direction. All first and second edges of the strips are located in the middle region and each strip-shaped textile extends outwards from the middle region, folds about a fold axis located in either the first or second margin region and returns to the middle region. At least one strip extends from the first to the second margin region and the strips are attached together in the middle region.

MULTIPLE CHAMBER INNERDUCT STRUCTURE

A flexible innerduct structure having a first edge, a second edge, a first margin region, a second margin region, and a middle region. The middle region is located between the first and second margin regions. The innerduct structure comprises at least two flexible longitudinal tubes, each longitudinal tube forming two chambers. Each chamber is designed for enveloping at least one cable, where at least one of the longitudinal tubes extends from the first margin region to the second margin region, and wherein the tubes are attached together at an attachment in the middle region.

Cut resistant rope

A rope having a core for providing strength to the rope, where at least a metal or composite woven or warp knitted fabric having multiple substantially parallel elongated metal elements is provided around the core for protecting said core from impact and cutting, and where the multiple substantially parallel elongated elements are in the warp direction and held by yarns.

ELECTROMAGNETIC PROTECTION SHEATH MADE OF TEXTILE

An electromagnetic protection sheath made of textile (10) is formed by conductive filaments extending in a first direction (X) and non-conductive filaments interlaced with the conductive filaments. Use in particular for shielding cables in aeronautical applications.

Transparent, end-fray and EMI resistant textile sleeve and method of construction thereof

A woven sleeve and method of construction thereof is provided. The sleeve has a wall with opposite edges extending lengthwise along a longitudinal axis between opposite ends, wherein the opposite edges are wrappable into overlapping relation with one another to contain the wires within a cavity of the sleeve. The wall is constructed from warp yarns extending along the longitudinal axis and fill yarns extending transversely to the warp yarns. The fill yarns are provided as transparent or substantially transparent monofilaments and the warp yarns are provided as yarns including a multifilament yarn and at least one conductive wire, wherein the conductive wire wrapped about the multifilament yarn.

INNERDUCT HAVING MULTIPLE SIZED CHAMBERS
20200161844 · 2020-05-21 ·

A flexible innerduct having a seam region and a chamber region, where the innerduct structure contains at least two flexible, longitudinal chambers, each chamber designed for enveloping at least one cable. The flexible innerduct comprises at least one strip of textile material, where each strip of textile material comprises a first edge and a second edge and extends in the longitudinal direction. All of the first and second edges of the strips are located in the seam region. Each strip of textile material extends outwards from the seam region, folds about a fold axis located in the chamber margin region and returns to the seam region forming a chamber. The chamber length, defined to be the distance between the seam region and the fold axis of the chamber, is different between at least two of the flexible, longitudinal chambers.

EMI PROTECTIVE SLEEVE AND METHOD OF CONSTRUCTION THEREOF

A wrappable textile sleeve for protecting a conductive elongate member against at least one of EMI, RFI or ESD and method of construction thereof is provided. The sleeve includes a plurality of warp filaments and at least one weft filament woven with one another to form a woven substrate. The woven substrate has opposite sides extending lengthwise between opposite ends. The opposite sides are wrappable about a central longitudinal axis into overlapping relation with one another to circumferentially enclose the elongate member within a cavity of the sleeve. At least some of the warp filaments are provided as generally flat, thin conductive filaments shield the conductive elongate member against the effects of EMI, RFI and/or ESD.

Multilayer textile sleeve and method of construction thereof

A multilayer textile sleeve and method of construction thereof is provided. The sleeve includes a textile wall having opposite edges extending lengthwise along a longitudinal axis of the sleeve between opposite ends. The opposite edges are configured to overlap one another to bound a central cavity of the sleeve. The wall has an inner layer with opposite inner and outer faces and an outer layer with opposite inner and outer faces. The inner and outer layers overlap one another and are constructed of interlinked yarn. The inner and outer layers are integrally connected to one another across interlinked portions adjacent the opposite edges by yarn common to each of the inner and outer layers.
