The present invention relates to a composite yarn, a preparation method thereof and an elastic fabric, wherein the composite yarn comprises a core yarn and an outer wrapping yarn, wherein the core yarn further comprising at least one piece of elastic filament, and wherein the outer wrapping yarn is made of short fiber, wherein the outer wrapping yarn is spirally wrapped on the core yarn, wherein drafting ratio of the core yarn is 1-1.5 times.

WRAPPABLE END FRAY RESISTANT WOVEN PROTECTIVE TEXTILE SLEEVE AND METHOD OF CONSTRUCTION THEREOF

An end fray resistant textile sleeve includes an elongate wall having warp yarns extending generally parallel to a longitudinal central axis of the sleeve and fill yarns extending circumferentially about the sleeve. The warp yarns include at least two different types of yarns, with one of the types of warp yarns including activateable yarns and another of the types of yarns including non-activateable yarns. The activateable yarns can be provided as being activateable by at least one of heat, fluid and/or pressure, such that upon being activated, the yarns are caused to bond with the adjacent non-activateable warp yarns, as well as with the weft yarns with which they make contact. As such, the activateable yarns, upon being activated, become fixed with abutting warp yarns and weft yarns, thereby inhibiting end fray from resulting during a subsequent cold-cutting operation as well as in use.

METHOD FOR PRODUCING A LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT COVERING AND LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT COVERING FOR VEHICLES

The invention addresses the problem of providing a low-breathability woven fabric and a textile product that are excellent not only in downproofness but also in stretchability. As a means for resolution, a low-breathability woven fabric having a breathability of 1.0 cc/sec/cm.sup.2 or less is configured to include a stretch fiber.

Fabric with Moisture Management Function
20230243074 · 2023-08-03 ·

A knitted or woven fabric with moisture management function is described that includes an inner layer having a first yarn that is semi-hydrophilic with a first moisture regain, and an outer layer having a second yarn that is hydrophilic with a second moisture regain greater than the first moisture regain of the first yarn. The fabric has a moisture regain gradient between the inner layer and the outer layer that acts to pull moisture through the inner layer in contact with the wearer’s skin and out through the outer layer. In one embodiment, the second yarn is a combination of a core bi-component yarn and at least one outer sheath yarn surrounding the core bi-component yarn.

Fabric-based items having strands with embedded components

A fabric-based item may include fabric formed from intertwined strands of material with embedded circuitry. The strands of material may be formed from dielectric materials such as polymers. The strands of material may be formed from joined segments of polymer strand material or other material. Each joined segment may contain a potentially distinct circuit. Some joined segments may include one or more conductive lines. The conductive lines may run parallel to each other along the length of the joined segments to form circuit interconnects. Conductive lines may be joined to contact pads on integrated circuits and other embedded components formed from semiconductor dies. Control circuitry formed from the integrated circuits embedded in strands of material in the fabric and other control circuitry may be used to control the circuitry embedded in the fabric.
