The advantageous fabric realized in accordance with embodiments of the present disclosure has excellent wrinkle resistance, high tensile strength, and low pilling tendency.

An article of apparel is disclosed that includes zones with a textile having a structure than changes or is otherwise modified by a physical stimulus, such as the presence of water or a temperature change, to modify a property of the textile. The zones may be along a center back area and/or side areas of the apparel, and the textile may increase in air permeability when exposed to water. In some embodiments, slits are formed in the textile.

A cable wrapping tape, in particular for the engine compartment of an automobile, has a strip-like carrier (1) consisting of fabric, said carrier is provided at least on one side with a self-adhering adhesive layer (2) which consists of a pressure-sensitive adhesive, wherein the fabric of the carrier (1) consists of a yarn (3a, 3b) which is formed from a polyamide material and which has a yarn strength of at least 280 dtex. The yarn (3a, 3b) is formed from 24 to 80 filaments (4), and the cable wrapping tape meets abrasion class E according to LV 312 both on a mandrel having a 5 mm diameter and on a mandrel having a 10 mm diameter. For increasing the abrasion resistance, it is proposed that the filaments (4) are twisted with one another about a central longitudinal axis (X-X) of the yarn (3a, 3b).

An outdoor cover product is disclosed. The outdoor cover product is water resistant and breathable. The product is made from a woven fabric that has excellent stretch properties in multiple directions.

A heat insulation fabric includes a base cloth interwoven via a warp thread and a weft thread. The warp thread is a flat aluminized polyester continuous filament. The weft thread is a polyester yarn or a polyester filament, and the base cloth is woven by the warp thread and the weft thread in a satin weave or a twill weave.
