INTERACTIVE CORD WITH IMPROVED CAPACITIVE TOUCH SENSING
An interactive cord system can include sensing circuitry coupled to a system ground and an interactive cord. The interactive cord can include a plurality of non-conductive lines a plurality of conductive sensing lines at least partially woven with one or more of the plurality of non-conductive lines to form at least one touch-sensitive area along the interactive cord and one or more conductive grounding lines electrically connected with the system ground and extending at least partially along an outer portion of the interactive cord.
Fabric Items Having Strands With Inner and Outer Layers
A fabric-based item may include fabric formed from intertwined strands of material. The strands of material may include interior layers and exterior layers that surround the interior layers. The interior layers may have different properties from the exterior layers, such as different conductivities, adhesiveness, magnetic properties, colors, reflectivities, as examples. The strands of material may be selectively etched to expose portions of the interior layers. In this way, the properties of the interior layers may be visible and/or exposed, and the strands may have a modified appearance or functionality in the exposed regions. Other strands or external equipment may be coupled to the interior layers within the exposed regions. Adjacent strands in a layer of fabric may have adjoining exposed portions to modify the properties of a region of the layer of fabric.

VEHICLE INTERIOR MEMBER
An armrest is provided as a part of a center console of a vehicle. The armrest includes a base material, a cushion layer that is laminated on the base material and made of a foam, a heater layer that is laminated on the cushion layer, and a surface layer that is laminated on the heater layer. The cushion layer includes a first cushion layer that is laminated on the base material, and a second cushion layer that is disposed between the first cushion layer and the heater layer and has a density lower than that of the first cushion layer. The heater layer has a woven fabric portion that is woven by using a plurality of warp yarns and a plurality of weft yarns. In the woven fabric portion, a part of the weft yarns is formed of a conductive yarn that generates heat when energized.

MULTILAYER FABRIC FOR NONWOVEN FABRIC
In a multilayer fabric for nonwoven fabric 30, an upper-surface-side fabric formed from upper-surface-side warps (1Ub, 2U, 3U, 4U, 4U′, 5Ub, 6U, 7U, 8U, 8U′) and upper-surface-side wefts (1′U, 2′U, 3′U, 4′U) and a lower-surface-side fabric formed from lower-surface-side warps (1Lb, 2L, 3L, 5Lb, 6L, 7L) and lower-surface-side wefts (1′L, 2′L, 3′L, 4′L) are bound together. First warps (1Ub, 5Ub) of the upper-surface-side warps serve as first binding yarns that bind the upper-surface-side fabric and the lower-surface-side fabric, and second warps (1Lb, 5Lb) of the lower-surface-side warps serve as second binding yarns that bind the upper-surface-side fabric and the lower-surface-side fabric. A high-friction yarn is used as at least some of the upper-surface-side warps.
SEAT BELT HEATING ASSEMBLY AND SEAT
A seat-belt heating assembly and a seat are provided. The seat-belt heating assembly includes a safety belt body and a safety-belt heating mechanism connected to the safety belt body. The seat includes a safety belt body, a seat body, a heating component, and a control component. The heating component includes a heating mechanism provided in the safety belt body. In the use state, the heating mechanism has one end terminating in the safety belt body at the front end of the fixing member, and the other end terminating in the safety belt body at the front end of the retractor. The control component includes an ECU heating controller, a safety-belt heating switch, and an insertion detection unit configured to detect whether the latch is inserted into the buckle. Each of the safety-belt heating switch, the insertion detection unit, and the heating mechanism is connected to the ECU heating controller.
ELECTRODE-WIRING-EQUIPPED CLOTH MATERIAL
Disclosed is an electrode-wiring-equipped cloth material including: a cloth material main body; an electrode section which is provided on a surface of or inside the cloth material main body and contains a conductive linear body; a wiring section which is provided adjacent to the electrode section on the surface of or inside the cloth material main body and contains a conductive linear body, in which cloth material at least one conductive linear body contained in the electrode section and at least on conductive linear body contained in the wiring section are the same single conductive linear body.
Fabric, method for manufacturing same, and fiber product
The invention addresses the problem of providing a cloth that is excellent not only in flame retardancy and antistatic properties but also in appearance quality and preferably also has protection performance against electric arcs, a method for producing the same, and a textile product. A means for resolution is a cloth including a meta-type wholly aromatic polyamide fiber and an electrically conductive fiber, wherein both the meta-type wholly aromatic polyamide fiber and the electrically conductive fiber are colored.
