Monitoring device for a weaving machine, weaving machine, and method for monitoring
The monitoring device for a weaving machine includes at least one camera and a weft-thread beat-up device. The weft-thread beat-up device includes at least one reed and/or a batten and the reed and/or the batten extends in a longitudinal direction of the weft-thread beat-up device. The at least one camera apparatus is fastened to the weft-thread beat-up device and includes sensor elements arranged adjacent to one another. The camera is designed to record an image using the sensor elements, wherein the sensor elements are arranged in a row that extends substantially parallel to the longitudinal direction of the weft-thread beat-up device.

Method and Device for Producing a Reed, and Reed
The subject of the publication includes a method for manufacturing weaving reeds (9), in which, to form the dents (1) of the reed (9), strip- or tape-shaped objects (1) are joined together at a given distance apart (A) in the widthwise direction (B) of the reed (9).
It is considered novel and inventive that at least one of the strip- or tape-shaped objects (1) is provided with a prescribed amount (10-18) of at least one viscous substance applied to its areal surfaces (8), particularly to the end portions (E) thereof, said areal surfaces facing in the widthwise direction (B) of the reed (9), and are then joined together.
The application also includes a device (30) for manufacturing reeds (9), and a reed (9) produced using the aforementioned method.

MULTI-LAYERED WOVEN ELEMENT
The present embodiments provide a woven element having a first plurality of warp threads extending in a first direction and integrated into a first surface on a front side of the woven element. The woven element may have a second plurality of warp threads extending in the first direction, where the second plurality of warp threads is integrated into a second surface on a back side of the woven element. A first weft thread may extend in a second direction, where a first portion of the first weft thread is positioned in front of at least one warp thread of the first plurality of warp threads to form at least a portion of a graphic image on the front surface. A second portion of the first weft thread may extend between the first plurality of warp threads and the second plurality of warp threads.
WEAVING LOOM WITH TILTABLE REED AND WEAVING METHOD
A Jacquard type loom intended to produce a fibrous structure by three-dimensional weaving between a plurality of warp yarns and a plurality of weft yarns extending in a horizontal direction, the loom including a reed movable between a rest position upstream of the rapier and a beat-up position of a fell of the fibrous structure in a beat-up direction parallel to the horizontal direction. The reed includes at least two stationary portions forming an angle therebetween. The reed is mounted on the loom by means of a positioning mechanism able to orient the reed about an axis of rotation so as to adjust an angular position of the stationary portions of the reed relative to a horizontal reference plane. The loom comprises vertical translation means able to move the reed or the fell of the fibrous structure in the vertical direction.
