PILE FABRIC AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME

A pile fabric includes ground yarns constituting a ground structure; pile fibers that are tangled with the ground yarns, the pile fibers including portions standing on a front surface side of the ground structure; and an organically-modified silicone-based softener adhered to the pile fibers located on a back surface side of the pile fabric. The pile fibers include at least one selected from the group consisting of acrylic fibers and modacrylic fibers, and have a softening point lower than a softening point of the ground yarns. The portions standing on the front surface side of the ground structure are not fused to each other, and on a back surface side of the ground structure, at least part of the pile fibers located outside of the ground yarns are fused to each other.

SINGLE-PLY TEXTILE SUPPORT AND REINFORCING MATERIAL

The invention relates to a single-ply textile support and reinforcing material (20) for articles made of rubber and/or plastic, in particular for hoses and composite materials, which is formed by means of spun yarns with very low yarn rotation (spin alpha 0-10) or completely without yarn rotation preferably for knitted fabrics. The invention also relates to articles made of rubber and/or plastic, in particular hoses and composite materials, which contain the textile support and reinforcing material.

PLANT FIBER PILE FABRIC TEXTILE
20250034765 · 2025-01-30 ·

A plant fiber deep pile fabric is disclosed that closely resembles animal fur or wool manufactured via a method that includes extracting the plant fibers from the plant material and forming a yarn or sliver made from plant fibers and simultaneously attaching it to a scrim also made from plant fibers, where the fiber is attached and extends from the scrim to form a length of plant-fiber pile fabric having natural plant fibers on one side and the scrim on the opposite side. The method includes finishing the scrim side of the fabric with an adhesive agent to attach the fibers to the scrim and form a stable base. The method also includes finishing the plant fiber pile side of the fabric by applying fur-industry specific processing steps to alter the properties of the fibers resulting in an even closer resemblance of animal fur.

There is provided a hybrid turf support for use with natural grass to form a stable hybrid turf system, the hybrid turf support comprising a knitted reticulated support; and a plurality of grass-like fibers extending upwardly from the knitted reticulated support, the grass-like fibers comprising groups of fibers extending upwardly at intervals.

Pile fabric and manufacturing method therefor

A pile fabric includes a long pile portion and a short pile portion. An average pile length of the long pile portion differs from an average pile length of the short pile portion by 2 mm or more. The long pile portion contains crimped polyester-based fibers in an amount of 60% by weight or more. The short pile portion contains crimped polyester-based fibers in an amount of 60% by weight or more. A crimp removal temperature of the polyester-based fibers of the long pile portion is lower than a crimp removal temperature of the polyester-based fibers of the short pile portion. The crimp removal temperature of the polyester-based fibers of the short pile portion is 90 C. or more and 120 C. or less. Each of the crimp removal temperatures indicates a minimum temperature that satisfies a specific relationship. A method for manufacturing the pile fabric is also provided.

Pile fabric made with different fiber strands

A method of making a deep pile fabric that closely resembles natural sheepskin fleece, that includes forming a plurality of straight fiber strands and a plurality of looped fiber strands and simultaneously knitting the straight fiber strands and the looped fiber strands and the scrim together, wherein the straight fiber strands and the looped fiber strands are knit on the scrim in rows, wherein each row includes alternatingly knitting one of the straight fiber strands and one of the looped fiber strands to the scrim.
