Knit textiles and uppers, and processes for making the same
Articles of wear having one or more textiles that include a low processing temperature polymeric composition and a high processing temperature polymeric composition, and methods of manufacturing the same are disclosed. The low processing temperature polymeric composition and the high processing temperature polymeric composition can be selectively incorporated into a textile to provide one or more structural properties and/or other advantageous properties to the article. The textile can be thermoformed to impart such structural and/or other advantageous properties to the article of wear. This abstract is intended as a scanning tool for purposes of searching in the particular art and is not intended to be limiting of the present disclosure.
3D spacer textiles for crop protection and insect control
A variety of agricultural spacer fabrics/textiles are provided that protect plants from insect penetration while allowing for light and air penetration, and methods of use. The textiles can be used alone or in conjunction with agents such as insecticides, insect repellants, and fungicides. The agricultural textile can have an outermost fabric layer, an innermost fabric layer, and a plurality of filaments connecting the outermost fabric layer and the innermost fabric layer.
TEXTILE ASSEMBLIES FOR SPEAKERS, INCLUDING TEXTILE ASSEMBLIES WITH INLAID TENSIONING YARNS, AND ASSOCIATED APPARATUSES AND METHODS
This document describes textile assemblies for speakers, including textile assemblies with inlaid tensioning yarns, and associated apparatuses and methods. The textile assembly includes a textile body (106) with inlaid tensioning yarns (302, 304). The textile assembly (102) may be a fully-fashioned textile swatch. The tensioning yarns are inlaid at intervals in the textile body but can slide within or be pulled through the textile body. Further, the tensioning yarns have ends (306, 308, 402, 404) that are accessible near the edges of the textile body for various reasons. First, pulling on them while the textile assembly is on an acoustic device (104) tensions the tensioning yarns such that they limit movement of the textile assembly and break up vibration modes. Second, their ends can be tied directly to, formed into loops to hook over, or wound around, features (208) on the acoustic device to removably secure the textile assembly to the acoustic device.

KNITTED COMPONENTS AND ARTICLES FOR IMPROVED BALL CONTROL AND DURABILITY
A knitted component with a surface that includes first areas and second areas having different relative coefficient of frictions and that are formed in an alternating pattern. The first areas of the first surface are 40% to 80% of the total surface area for the first surface. The alternating pattern may be in the form of concentric shapes. The alternating pattern may have linear boundaries and curvilinear boundaries between first areas and second areas. The first areas can be formed from a first yarn having a core and a coating. The coating at least partially surrounds the core.
MOISTURE WICKING AND PERSPIRATION CONCEALING TEXTILE
Aspects herein are directed to a moisture wicking and perspiration concealing knit spacer textile and garments formed therefrom that includes a first knit layer formed from yarns that have been treated with a durable water repellant (DWR) finish prior to being formed into the first knit layer and a second knit layer formed from yarns that have been treated with a wicking finish prior to being formed into the second knit layer. The first knit layer and the second knit layer are interconnected by tie yarns. When the textile is formed into the garment, the second knit layer is configured to be positioned adjacent to a skin surface of a wearer and the first knit layer forms an outer-facing surface of the garment.
