The diode is electrically connected to the other of the positive lead and the negative lead. The second needle is electrically connected to the diode.

Knee Osteoarthritis Treatment
A knee osteoarthritis treatment, including: performing acupuncture on a first group of muscles associated with an osteoarthritic knee joint, including: Vastus Lateralis, Gluteus Maximus, Gluteus Medius, Semitendinosus, Semimembranosus, Biceps Femoris Long Head, Gastrocnemius Medial Head, Gastrocnemius Lateral Head, Biceps Femoris Short Head, Quadratus Lumborum, and Popliteus, and fascia associated with the osteoarthritic knee joint including: Iliotibial Tract; and performing deep tissue massage therapy on the first group of muscles, the fascia, and a second group of muscles associated with the osteoarthritic knee joint, including: Sartorius, Rectus Femoris, Psoas Major, and Gracilis. The knee osteoarthritis treatment may also include injecting Hyaluronic acid into a knee joint having osteoarthritic symptoms. Acupuncture of the present invention is performed by inserting one or more acupuncture needles into the muscle origin or the muscle insertion of the first group of muscles and the fascia for a period of time and later withdrawing the acupuncture needles.
Systems and methods for electrostimulation therapy
A system for electrostimulation therapy includes two or more electrodes of different metals or metal alloys. The electrodes can be optionally provided on a flexible non-conducting substrate with a binder, thereby acting as a bandage or patch. Alternatively, the electrodes can be in the form of a needle, such as acupuncture needle, bracelets, armbands, wristbands, necklaces, or jewelry pieces. A method for electrostimulation therapy includes the steps of attaching a first electrode to a user or soil of a plant at a first location and attaching at least one additional electrode to the user or the plant at other locations for a predetermined period. The electrodes are not connected to a voltage or current source. Because at least two electrodes are of different metals, they cause an electrical current to flow via at least a portion of the user or the soil of the plant.

ELECTROMAGNETIC-WAVE TREATMENT DEVICE
The shoulder stiffness, the muscle fatigue, etc., are easily and efficiently improved by the electromagnetic waves without the usage of the power supplies and the large treatment tools. The electromagnetic-wave treatment device 10 has an antenna acupuncture needle 13 and a fixing member 12. The antenna acupuncture needle 13 has a sharp end portion 13a having one end portion formed into a needle shape. The fixing member is fixed to the antenna acupuncture needle 13. This antenna acupuncture needle 13 is fixed so that the sharp end portion 13a of the antenna acupuncture needle 13 protrudes from the fixing member 12. And, the antenna acupuncture needle 13 functions as an antenna receiving the electromagnetic waves in a space.
Needle Assemblies
A needle assembly includes a needle with the needle having a handle at a proximal end portion thereof. The assembly also includes a guide tube sized to house the needle and handle, with the guide tube including an inwardly-extending projection adjacent a proximal end thereof. The inwardly-extending projection is configured to engage an engagement portion of the handle for retaining the needle within the guide tube such that a distal tip of the needle is positioned within the guide tube and a proximal end portion of the handle extends from the proximal end of the guide tube. The engagement being releasable upon a force applied to the proximal end portion of the handle to extend the distal tip of the needle out of the guide tube.
TRIGGER POINT DRY NEEDLING IN MOTION AND METHOD OF USE
A method is provided for a novel application of trigger point dry needling. A target tissue is identified based on the observation of a series of movement patterns performed by the patient. Once identified, a needle movement protocol is used to insert a needle into the target tissue to a myofascial trigger point during one or more movement patterns. The needle protocol is adjusted until a local twitch response is induced.

Needle assemblies containing oriented acupuncture needles and methods for production thereof
Acupuncture needles may be used for piercing tissue with less trauma than may occur when employing larger gauge needles. However, because acupuncture needles are fabricated and packaged differently than are larger gauge needles, acupuncture needles may be less compatible with certain manufacturing processes. Needle assemblies compatible with manufacturing processes may comprise a continuous support material having a plurality of apertures defined therein, and a first injection molded coupler that surrounds a proximal portion of an acupuncture needle and connects the acupuncture needle to a first location upon the continuous support material, such that the acupuncture needle is held in a pre-determined orientation with respect to a longitudinal axis of the first injection molded coupler. The acupuncture needles in adjacent apertures may also be spaced apart substantially uniformly.
