Fabric items having strands varying along their lengths
A fabric-based item may include fabric formed from intertwined strands of material. The strands of material may include extruded strands. Strand extrusion equipment may have electrically adjustable sources such as one or more sources of different polymers, dyes, particles, wire, and other elements to be incorporated into an extruded strand. The properties of the strands such as strand stiffness, strand diameter, conductivity, magnetic permeability, opacity, color, thermal conductivity, sand strength, may be varied along their lengths. Fabric formed from the strands may have different areas with different properties. Markers may be formed from particles at particular locations along the lengths of the strands, may be optical marker structures formed from circumferential rings of ink or other visible material on the strands, or may be other markers that can be sensed using electrical sensing, magnetic sensing, optical sensing, or other types of sensing when forming fabric from the strands.

METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE CONSUMPTION OF YARN IN A WEAVING PROCESS
A textile machine receives a plurality of yarns from respective feeders, each provided with a control unit that calculates, for each garment produced, the amount of yarn consumed (YCmeas) and compares it with a reference consumption value (YCref). If the difference exceeds a preset limit value (% max) that indicates an anomaly, then an alarm is generated. Periodically, the control unit calculates an average consumption value (YCmed) on the basis of a preset number (Nmed) of already-finished garments, and compares it with the reference consumption value (YCref). If the difference exceeds a preset threshold value (% maxmed), then the reference consumption value (Yref) is set to the average consumption value (Ymed).

Textile machine adjustment method and system thereof
A textile machine adjustment method is provided. An operating speed of a textile machine within an operating range is set by a processor according to the basic information of the fabric. A motion image of the fabric and the vibration characteristics of the yarns are recorded by a video camera. The operating speed of the textile machine is adjusted at least once, and the vibration characteristics of the yarns is analyzed after each adjustment of the operating speed. Multiple correlation factor functions and the relative weights of the multiple factors related to the operating speed of the textile machine are recorded. The relative weights of the multiple factors are adjusted according to a yield quality of the fabric. When an expected value is met, the fabric continues to be produced at the current operating speed; otherwise, the relative weights of multiple factors are adjusted to correct the operating speed.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR MANAGING AND CONTROLLING THE FEEDING OF AT LEAST ONE THREAD TO A TEXTILE MACHINE AS A FUNCTION OF THE OPERATING STEP OF THE LATTER
Method and system for managing and controlling feeding of at least one thread to a textile machine as a function of the machine operating step in product production or thread processing, such production or processing providing for a succession of steps corresponding to obtaining product parts or treating thread. The thread fed to the machine by a feeder at constant tension and/or speed and/or controlled by a sensor which monitors sliding or inherent characteristic thereof such as tension, speed, diameter, quantity and color. The sensor and/or feeder being controlled by a setting controller. The setting controller receiving synchronization signals from the machine and detectingaccording to the latterthe operating steps and thus product or production status. The operation setting programmed as a function of operating steps. The machine generates a unique synchronization signal, for each operating step, independently from step length.
