CARBON FIBER COMPOSITE ARTIFICIAL BONE AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF
The invention discloses a carbon fiber composite artificial bone and a preparation method thereof. The artificial bone includes a carbon fiber composite spring-like frame or includes a carbon fiber composite spring-like frame and a carbon fiber composite plate dowel, and the carbon fiber composite plate dowel is inserted into one end or both ends of a cavity of the spring-like frame or penetrates through the cavity of the carbon fiber composite spring-like frame. The preparation method includes: preparing a spring-like carbon fiber preform through a weaving technology by using carbon fibers as a raw material, performing densification and high-temperature purification treatment and preparing a wear-resistant coating to obtain the carbon fiber composite spring-like frame; and combining the carbon fiber composite spring-like frame with the carbon fiber composite plate bowel to obtain the artificial bone.
FIBER REINFORCED PLASTIC MEMBER
Provided is a fiber reinforced plastic member made by a braiding technique to obtain high rigidity and superior vibration damping performance under a bending load. A reinforcing member made of carbon fiber reinforced plastic resin extends in a specific direction along an axis of the reinforcing member and includes a carbon fiber braided structure. The carbon fiber braided structure has a structure in which a plurality of axial yarns, a plurality of first braid yarns, and a plurality of second braid yarns are braided. A plurality of first braid yarns are wound to intersect the axis at a first braid angle. A plurality of second braid yarns are wound to intersect the axis at a second braid angle. The first braid yarns and the second braid yarns intersect each other. The reinforcing member has a region approximately in the longitudinal middle where the first braid angle and the second braid angle of the first braid yarns and the second braid yarns take values larger than in other region regarding the longitudinal direction.

Method for Producing a Multilayer Fiber Composite Preform for a Fiber Composite Component
A method produces a fiber composite preform for a fiber composite component. The fiber composite preform has a plurality of layers of a fiber roving. The method includes: providing a support core for arranging the fiber roving s on a braiding device, the support core having a support core longitudinal axis, producing a first braided fabric layer from fiber rovings on the support core in a first braiding direction parallel to the support core longitudinal axis of the support core by the braiding device, and producing a second braided fabric layer from fiber rovings on the first braided fabric layer by the braiding device. The second braided fabric layer is produced in a second braiding direction parallel to the support core longitudinal axis, the second braiding direction being opposite the first braiding direction.

Braided Composite Products Comprising Thermoplastic Material
A braided carbon structure and methods of forming and processing are presented. The braided carbon structure comprises axial tows comprising carbon filaments; braid tows at a braid angle relative to the axial tows, the braid tows comprising carbon filaments; and thermoplastic material within at least one of the axial tows or the braid tows, wherein the thermoplastic material makes up less than 40 of each of the at least one of the axial tows or the braid tows.
THREE DIMENSIONAL BRAID
A three dimensional braid includes a plurality of first plaits adjacent one another oriented in a first direction and a plurality of second plaits adjacent one another oriented in a transverse second direction intertwined forming a braid with each first plait intersecting each of the plurality of second plaits in succession. Each first plait includes a first group of tows and a second group of tows, each of the tows in the first group of tows corresponding to one of the tows in the second group of tows in pairs of first plait tows.
