A therapeutic flotation device and a therapeutic method of use thereof is disclosed. The device includes a plurality of buoyant float elements and a member (an elongated web strap) that couples each of the buoyant float elements such that the buoyant float elements are serially aligned along the member. A first end of the member is secured to a second end of the member. A mating mechanism, such as a buckle, secures the first end of the member to the second end of the member, or the two ends of the member may be permanently secured to each other using an adhesive or by being sewn together. Each of the buoyant float elements has a center aperture aligned along the center of a cross-section thereof. The member is preferably coupled to each of the buoyant float elements by being sequentially passed through the center apertures of each buoyant float element.

A massage pillow configured to be positioned over a fluid jet includes a cushion and a retaining assembly. The cushion includes a front surface, a rear surface, and side surfaces extending there between. The rear surface includes an annular edge defining an opening providing access to an interior of the cushion sized to at least partially cover the jet. The retainer assembly includes an opening configured to align with the jet and a peripheral edge configured to retain the annular edge of the cushion. The retainer assembly is configured to be removably fixed to a wall surrounding the jet with the jet aligned with the opening of the retainer assembly and the opening of the cushion, such that fluid expelled from the jet passes into the interior of the cushion, so that the pillow provides massage and/or warmth due to the expelled fluid.

A floating physical therapy device includes a frame and a harness. The frame includes an inner frame and an outer frame on the right and left side. The inner frame defines a patient area. The harness is attached to the inner frame such that it secures a patient to the device in a substantially upright position during use. The frame extends forwards and backwards, as well as to the left and right, of the patient area in order to provide stability in the water during normal use. The frame defines a trainer area immediately forward of the patient area where a therapist can have access to the patient during therapy sessions.

The example apparatus includes a flexible material protruding from the opening and configured to sealingly engage a portion of a body of a user including a clitoris. The example apparatus includes a drive unit disposed in the housing. The drive unit is to cause a volume of the chamber to alternate between a first volume and a second volume, the alternating volume of the chamber to cause pressure in the chamber to modulate between positive pressures relative to an ambient pressure and negative pressures relative to the ambient pressure. The modulated positive pressures and negative pressures are to be applied to the portion of the body via the opening.

A buoyancy-based cervical traction system has a floatation and a head rest supported by the flotation system. The head rest is adapted to support a person's head above the neck and apply traction to the neck when the person is in a body of liquid. The system has a position adjustment system adapted to allow selective adjustment of the position at which the person's head rest will be relative to an upper surface of the liquid when the person and the cervical traction system are in the liquid, the person's head is supported by the head rest, and the cervical traction system and person are floating in the liquid at equilibrium.

A stimulation device is provided in accordance with one embodiment. The stimulation device includes a chamber which has a flexible wall portion. A drive unit of the stimulation device is in physical communication with the flexible wall portion so as to cause deflections of the flexible wall portion in opposing directions, thereby resulting in a changing volume of the chamber. The changing volume of the chamber results in modulated positive and negative pressures with respect to a reference pressure. An opening of the stimulation device is for applying the modulated positive and negative pressures to a body part. The stimulation device includes a control device for controlling the drive unit.

The apparatus employing a massage head made of a thermally conductive material attached to a handle. The apparatus is used to apply pressure, via the massage head, at or in proximity to the wrist through reciprocal movement.

A negative pressure massage device which includes a massage stick, an external negative pressure device and a communication pipe. The massage stick includes a stick body, an air channel in the stick body, a negative pressure connection hole and an air suction opening formed at both ends of the stick body and communicated with the air channel. The external negative pressure device is installed separately from the massage stick and includes a housing and a negative pressure drive/control module. The negative pressure drive/control module includes a controller, a negative pressure generating component, a pressure relief assembly and an air pipe assembly with a negative pressure communication hole formed on the housing. The immobilizing element includes a plurality of movement-inhibiting suction members adapted to be attached to a surface and to inhibit positional movement of the body about the surface. The foot care device can include a cleansing compound embedded in the porous element and at least one hole configured to channel the liquid within the porous element.
