Spine Alignment And Decompression Systems
A system can include a base configured to support a lower half of a human body. The system can also include a headrest elevated relative to the base, wherein the headrest is disposed adjacent to a proximal end of the base, where the headrest is configured to support a head of the human body. The system can further include a back platform having a first end and a second end, where the first end is coupled to the base, where the second end is disposed adjacent to the headrest, and where the back platform has a curvature, where the back platform is configured to support a torso of the human body. The system can also include a vibrating mechanism in communication with the back platform, where vibrations generated by the vibrating mechanism translate to the back platform.
TORQUE CONTROL METHODS FOR AN EXOSKELETON DEVICE
This document describes systems and methods for controlling an exoskeleton. The system receives a measurement of a first torque applied to a rotational joint coupling a first component to a second component, the first torque being applied by a motor via a cable. The system determines, based on the measurement of the first torque, a first portion of a second torque to apply to the rotational joint. The system determines, based on the measurement of the first torque, a second portion of the second torque to apply to the rotational joint. The system determines a value of the second torque to apply to the rotational joint based on the first portion and the second portion. The system controls the motor for applying the second torque to the rotational joint via the cable.
HAND TOOL FOR REDUCING HAND VIBRATION
A hand tool for reducing hand vibration, including a casing, a driving module, a power module and a workpiece. The casing includes a front section, a rear section, and a buffering section connected between the front and rear sections. The buffering section is made of an elastic material. The rear section is adapted for gripping. The driving module is disposed on the front section. The power module is disposed on the rear section, and is electrically connected to the driving module to supply electricity to the driving module. The workpiece is connected to the driving module, extends out of the front section, and is driven by the driving module to operate.
Weight Platform Treadmill
A treadmill includes a deck, a first pulley disposed in a first portion of the deck, a second pulley disposed in a second portion of the deck, a tread belt surrounding the first pulley and the second pulley, and a platform incorporated into the deck.
Personal care device
This invention relates to a device (1) for performing personal care operations on a subject. The device (1) comprises a handheld base body (3), a driving unit (400) to receive and drive an interchangeable treatment head (2) to perform the personal care operation, a sensor (7) for measuring the amount of current drawn from a motor arrangement (5, 6) while the driving unit (400) is being operated. The device (1) further comprises a control unit (8) operably connected to the sensor (7) and the driving unit (400) and configured to control the driving unit (400). The control unit (8) is configured to identify the individual treatment head (2) fitted on the driving unit (400) by comparing the measured motor current at the predefined measuring time (t1) with at least one predefined current threshold (C).
Spring-loaded tip for a walking aid
A spring-loaded tip attachment for a walking aid features a compression spring having axially opposing proximal and distal ends, a mount connected to the proximal end of said compression spring and configured for attachment to a shaft of said walking aid at or proximate a bottom end thereof, and a shoe connected to the distal end of said compression spring for spring-loaded contact of said shoe with a ground or floor surface during use of said walking aid. A plurality of attachments are respectively configured with different spring rates intended for users within different body weight categories. Attachments with greater spring rates are given to users in higher-weight categories, and attachments with lesser spring rates are given to users in lower-weight categories.
MASSAGE APPLIANCE HAVING FLOATING MOTOR AND VIBRATION PLATE FOR VIBRATION ISOLATION
A vibration appliance includes a vibration-isolation structure which substantially reduces vibration felt by the user at the handle. The vibration motor is mounted to a vibration plate which carries the massage node. The vibration plate floats within the vibration appliance housing, being suspended by a flexible, elastomer membrane having contours such as curves or folds in it that provide freedom of movement of the vibration plate relative to the housing to which the flexible membrane is mounted. This arrangement can be thought of as the motor and vibration node being mounted on a flexible diaphragm that can move freely as if mounted to the housing by a bellows-like arrangement.
WEARABLE DEVICE TO TREAT TREMOR
Devices, systems, and methods are provided to treat tremor in an outer extremity, typically a hand, of a subject. A wearable base or glove is provided with one or more tremor damping mechanisms, which can be of different or the same types, in the case of a plurality of tremor damping mechanisms. One or more frictional damping mechanisms can be provided and/or one or more tuned mass damping mechanisms can be provided. The frictional dampening mechanism can simply be the viscoelastic material of the wearable base that deforms and interferes with tremor movement. The frictional dampening mechanism can be one or more tension elements provided within the body of the wearable base. The tuned damping mechanism may comprise one or more resonators held within a housing coupled to the wearable base. The tremor damping mechanisms can be self-adjusting and/or adjustable by the wearer.
BEAUTY INSTRUMENT
A beauty instrument capable of imparting a massaging effect to skin. A beauty instrument is configured such that a pair of balls is supported at the tip of a handle. The balls are positioned at a distance from each another, and are capable of rotating around respective axes thereof.
PERCUSSIVE MASSAGE DEVICE AND METHOD OF USE
A percussive massage device that includes a housing, an electrical source, a motor positioned in the housing, a switch for activating the motor, and a push rod assembly operatively connected to the motor and configured to reciprocate in response to activation of the motor. The housing includes first, second and third handle portions that cooperate to define a handle opening, wherein the first handle portion defines a first axis, the second handle portion defines a second axis and the third handle portion defines a third axis, and wherein the first, second and third axes cooperate to form a triangle.
