DEVICES, SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR TREATING PAIN WITH ELECTRICAL STIMULATION
Devices, systems and methods are provided for treating migraine headaches and other conditions by non-invasive electrical stimulation of nerves and other tissue. A hand-held device includes a housing with a controller having a signal generator, an electrode for delivering electrical signals, and a conductive surface configured as a return path for the electrical signals. In certain implementations, the electrode is repositionable with respect to the housing. The patient can self-apply the hand-held device by pressing it against areas in need of pain relief. The device may include a pressure-sensitive gating switch to control delivery of the stimulation therapy. In certain embodiments, the electrode is a rollerball electrode. The device may include a chamber for retaining and dispensing conductive gel to the therapy site. In certain approaches, the device includes an electrode support for coupling an electrical stimulation system to the head for hands-free electrical stimulation therapy.
SMART WALKER
The present disclosure discloses a smart walker including a walker body, a first support member, a first sensing device, a second support member and a control device. The walker body includes a fixing member. The first support member and the second support member are connected to both ends of the fixing member, and each of the support members includes a handle, a front leg, and a rear leg. The first sensing device is disposed on a central leg to sense a surrounding environment, thereby obtaining a sensing signal. The control device includes a processor connected to the first sensing device and receives the sensing signal to determine whether an obstacle is present around the smart walker by judging the image.
THERAPEUTIC DEVICE
A therapeutic device is disclosed, including a device including a housing to releasably engage with a plurality of tool attachments, each of the plurality of tool attachments configured to treat one or more ailments. A heat element provides heat to the plurality of tool attachments and a vibrational element provides movement to the tool attachments to permit vibrational therapy. A gyroscope determines the operating arrangement of the device to ensure the proper orientation of the device for the selected treatment protocol. A timer times the treatment and may transmit an alert when the treatment is complete. A computing device is in operable communication with the device via a near-frequency communication system to receive data from one or more sensors and to permit the user to select operational settings of the device.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR IMPROVING VISION OF A VIEWER'S EYE WITH IMPAIRED RETINA
A portable system and method for training an alternate retinal location of a viewer's eye with impaired retina and an assistance system for improving vision of such viewer's eye are disclosed. The portable system for training comprises an eye tracking module to provide eye information of the viewer's eye and a virtual image display module to display a virtual image centered at the alternate retinal location on the viewer's impaired retina other than centered at a fovea. The virtual image display module further comprises a first light signal generator to generate multiple first light signals and a first combiner to redirect the multiple first light signals towards the alternate retinal location, when a pupil of the viewer's eye is located approximately at the center of the viewer's eye.
Aromatic fog generator for bathing environments
A fog generator assembly includes a water vapor generator, a fragrance dispenser, and a mixing element fluidly coupled to the water generator and the fragrance dispenser. The mixing element is configured to mix a fog of water vapor from the water vapor generator with a fragrance from the fragrance dispenser to produce an aromatic fog.
ANALYZE OPTION BUTTON FOR AN AUTOMATED EXTERNAL DEFIBRILLATOR (AED) WITH DUAL ECG ANALYSIS ALGORITHMS
A defibrillator (AED) and method for using a defibrillator incorporates a user activated button which truncates an ongoing ECG analysis to immediately perform a different defibrillator-related function. For example, the AED may use two different ECG analysis algorithms having different sensitivities to a shockable cardiac rhythm, and a press of the button may automatically shift from a first algorithm to a second algorithm with the higher sensitivity. The button may also allow truncation of ongoing analysis and CPR for immediate preparation for electrotherapy.
Systems and methods for user control of electronic chairs
Systems and methods for operating a vending machine and/or kiosk. The methods comprise: detecting a presence of a person in a seat of the vending machine; obtaining a full or partial body heat map for the person that was created based on sensor data generated by at least one sensor of the vending machine or at least one sensor located in proximity to the vending machine (the full or partial heat map showing relative temperatures of different parts of a body of the person); selecting at least one vending service parameter for the vending machine using information obtained based on the full or partial body heat map; and causing the vending machine to provide the person with a vending service in accordance with the at least one vending service parameter that was selected.
User-customized delivery of streamed multi-sensory media to a vibroacoustic therapy bed
A multi-sensory media experience delivery platform includes a vibroacoustic therapy bed that delivers a multi-sensory media experience locally stored, streaming, on-demand, or real-time signals. The vibroacoustic therapy bed drives a plurality of sensory output devices based on a set of sensory output channels to produce sounds, vibrations, light patterns, or other sensory outputs. The channels may be derived from dedicated signals created for a specific sensory output device or may be derived from an audio file or other general set of waveforms. The multi-sensory media experience may be customized to a user based on user profile data, metadata associated with the multi-sensory media experience, or biometric data. Furthermore, users can create customized multi-sensory media experiences from libraries of sounds or other media.
INFORMATION NETWORK SYSTEM INCLUDING MASSAGE MACHINE
An information network system includes a massage machine and a communication server. The massage machine contains: a treatment portion configured to treat a subject, a control unit configured to control the treatment portion, an operation unit configured to operate the treatment portion via the control unit, and a new arrival notification portion. The communication server is connected to the control unit via a communication network, the communication server is configured to emit an information related to the massage machine. The control unit is configured to cause the new arrival notification portion to issue a notification upon a receipt of the information.
