Wearable hand robot
The inventive concept relates to a wearable hand robot mounted on a finger to bend the finger by an external force transmitted through a wire. The wearable hand robot is capable of preventing an injury to a user's hand by the wire, achieving simplification of the structure of a finger cap and an improvement in a wearing sensation, and stably moving the finger while having a tactile sensation.
Assisted walking device and method of use
The inventive concepts disclosed and claimed herein are generally directed to an improved assisted walking device, such as a cane, walker or wheelchair, that includes an integrated oxygen concentrator housed within the assisted walking device. In some embodiments, for example, the improved assisted walking device includes a handle, a control pad, an elongated housing having an interior chamber, an oxygen concentrator, a leg member and a foot member. The oxygen concentrator detachably positioned within the interior chamber of the elongated housing and including an adsorption system configured to generate a flow of oxygen enriched gas, a compressor that includes a motor, a battery, a plurality of sieve beds configured to extract oxygen-enriched gas from ambient air, and a controller in communication with the control pad.
TREMOR STABILISATION APPARATUS
A tremor stabilization apparatus, for example for helping to stabilize tremors of user with Parkinson's Disease or Essential Tremor. The tremor stabilization apparatus has a housing that is attachable to a part of a user's body and a rotatable flywheel assembly mounted to the housing. The rotatable flywheel assembly includes a rotatable flywheel, a prime mover arranged to rotate the flywheel about a flywheel rotation axis, and a gimbal to which the flywheel is attached. The gimbal is pivotally mounted to the housing at a hinge formed between the gimbal and the housing and defining a precession axis such that the flywheel can precess with respect to the housing about the precession axis. The precession axis is fixed relative to the housing. The tremor stabilization apparatus further includes a biasing member arranged to oppose precession of the rotatable flywheel assembly and urge the rotatable flywheel assembly to an equilibrium position.
HAND EXOSKELETON, MEDICAL DEVICE AND SIMULATED GRABBING SYSTEM
A hand exoskeleton includes at least one mechanical finger and a mechanical palm; and the mechanical finger includes a finger section, a rod assembly and a motor, the finger section includes a first finger section and a second finger section, and the rod assembly includes a first rod assembly and a second rod assembly. The motor capable of controlling the hand exoskeleton is arranged in the hand exoskeleton, and motion constraint on the finger section is realized by constraining a rod through the motor in the movement process of the hand exoskeleton, so that motion limitation on the hand exoskeleton is realized.
Back Massage and Sleep Aid Device
The present invention relates to a novel back massage device. The device is designed to enable users to lay down and relax while getting a massage. The device comprises a multipurpose, battery operated or plug-in massage component that massages a user's back with ease. The massage component comprises several revolving massage heads that rotate along the back area offering a massage and relaxation. The device comprises a support base with an extending vertical pole that supports the massage component. Thus, users can lay down on their stomach while on a bed or sofa and obtain a hands-free, automated massage.
Balance Assist And Fall Prevention Assembly
A balance assist and fall prevention assembly for preventing falls and providing balance assistance includes a plurality of rails and a harness. The rails are mountable to a ceiling of a structure and are selectively interconnectable so that respective rails are extend along an associated route in the structure that is routinely traversed by a user. A trolley is rollably engaged to the plurality of rails. The harness can be selectively donned by the user so that the harness is removably engaged to the user. A tether is engaged to and extends between the harness and the trolley. The tether is selectively length adjustable so as to extend substantially linearly between the harness and the trolley with the user standing substantially upright and beneath the trolley. The tether thus improves balance of the user and to prevents falling of the user.
WALKING ASSIST DEVICE, CONTROL METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A walking assist device applies resistance force to a movement of a knee joint of a user according to a walking state of the user to assist a walking motion of the user. The walking assist device includes an auxiliary control unit that decreases the resistance force applied to the movement of the knee joint of the user when the walking state of the user transitions from a standing phase to a swinging phase, and a knee collapse sensing unit that senses a knee collapse by detecting that the knee joint of the user is located forward of a waist portion of the user during the standing phase. When the knee collapse sensing unit senses the knee collapse, the auxiliary force control unit reduces a degree of a decrease in the resistance force or stops the decrease in the resistance force.
PERSONAL STIMULATION DEVICE
Disclosed embodiments provide an improved stimulation device. Embodiments of the improved stimulation device include a cup and a driver. The cup has a cavity surrounded by a rim. In use, a user positions the rim such that an opening to the cavity is over an area of a user’s body to be stimulated (for example, the clitoris). A sealed-, or substantially-sealed, main chamber is formed by the cavity walls and the user’s body (skin surrounding the clitoris). A pressure field is generated in the main chamber. The device may further include an auxiliary chamber that is pneumatically connected to the main chamber via a conduit. An auxiliary chamber volume adjuster allows the user to vary the volume of the auxiliary chamber, which varies a total combined volume of the pneumatically connected main chamber and auxiliary chamber. The change in total volume causes a change in pressure experienced by the user. This allows the user to adjust the pressure based on comfort and pleasure as per user preferences.

The device includes a voice coil motor that drives a linear actuator. This enables the volume of the cavity, and changes in volume, to be electronically controlled. The change in total volume causes a change in pressure experienced by the user. This allows the user to adjust the pressure based on comfort and pleasure as per user preferences.
EXTENDER FOR A PERCUSSION MASSAGE DEVICE
An extender for a massage device handle has an adjustable and pivotal sleeve to be removably attached to different sized massage device handles via a hinge assembly. A first longitudinal extender section is removably attached to the hinge assembly. A first laterally extending handle is removably attached to the first longitudinal extender section. The first longitudinal extender section has one end adapted to removably receive another extender section to extend the length of the extender.
