A sewing machine that suppresses sewing defects is provided. The sewing machine includes: a sewing needle, held by a needle bar and moving back and forth while holding an upper thread; a shuttle, configured to hold a bobbin around which a lower thread is wound and which is housed in a bobbin case, and cooperating with the sewing needle to form a seam; a presser foot member, configured to press a to-be-sewn article at a sewing position directly below the sewing needle; a feeding mechanism, feeding the to-be-sewn article from the sewing position to a first direction; a needle drive portion, provided separately from a belt drive portion to synchronously move the sewing needle and the presser foot component in the first direction; and a control portion, which controls so that the needle drive portion and the belt drive portion operate independently.

A sewing machine that suppresses sewing defects is provided. A sewing machine includes a feed dog partially protruding out up and down from a throat plate to feed a workpiece, a sewing needle configured to perform stitch points on the workpiece by moving up and down, and a shuttle configured to capture an upper thread passed through the sewing needle below the throat plate to be entwined with a lower thread. The feed dog includes a top plate having teeth formed on an upper surface thereof, and a support portion to which a feed operation relative to the top plate is input. The top plate includes an insertion hole that the sewing needle penetrates up and down, and a pair of wall portions extending in an up-and-down direction respectively on one side and another side in a feed direction of the workpiece relative to the insertion hole on a lower surface side of the top plate.

The sewing machine includes: a sewing needing, held by a needle bar and moving back and forth while holding an upper thread: a shuttle, configured to hold a bobbin which is housed in a bobbin case and around which a lower thread is wound, and cooperating with the sewing needle to form a seam; a presser foot member, configured to press a to-be-sewn article at a sewing position directly below the sewing needle: a pressure adjustment portion, adjusting pressure applied to the to-be-sewn article by the presser foot member; a feeding mechanism, where endless feeding belts for feeding the to-be-sewn article from the sewing position to a first direction are disposed on two sides of a second direction orthogonal to a first direction with respect to the sewing position, the feeding mechanism is provided with a belt drive portion, and the belt drive portion independently drives the feeding belts on one side of the second direction with respect to the sewing position and the feeding belts on another side of the second direction with respect to the sewing position; and a control portion, configured to control the pressure adjustment portion to make a pressure of the presser foot member be corresponding to a difference between a feeding amount of the feeding belts on one side of the second direction with respect to the sewing position and a feeding amount of the feeding belts on another side of the second direction with respect to the sewing position.

A sewing machine that suppresses sewing defects is provided. A sewing machine includes: a sewing needle, holding an upper thread; an upper thread tension adjustment mechanism, adjusting a tension of the upper thread; a shuttle cooperating with the sewing needle to form a seam; a feed mechanism, in which endless feed belts feeding a sewing object disposed at a sewing position along a first direction are disposed on two sides with respect to the sewing position in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction, and in which a belt drive part independently driving the feed belts on two sides with respect to the sewing position in the second direction is provided; and a control part, controlling the mechanism, so that, from beginning to end of sewing, a tension of the upper thread varies in an amount according to a difference between feed amounts of the feed belts.

A sewing machine includes: a sewing needle, holding an upper thread; an upper thread tension adjustment mechanism, adjusting a tension of the upper thread; a shuttle cooperating with the sewing needle to form a seam; a feed mechanism, in which endless feed belts feeding a sewing object disposed at a sewing position along a first direction are disposed on two sides with respect to the sewing position in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction, and in which a belt drive part independently driving the feed belts on two sides with respect to the sewing position in the second direction is provided; and a control part, controlling the mechanism, so that, from beginning to end of sewing, a tension of the upper thread varies in an amount according to a difference between feed amounts of the feed belts.
