Systems, devices, and methods are provided for delivering stress-relieving therapy. A treatment system can include one or more treatment units, a housing having a hollow interior and upper and lower surfaces, one or more treatment devises within the housing, a processor configured to control the one or more treatment devices, and a bridge having two connectors. The one or more treatment devices can include a vibratory motor, heating device, cooling device, light emitting diode, lighting device, one or more speakers, or a combination thereof, configured to generate thermal therapy, haptic and vibrational therapy, visual therapy, binaural therapy. The therapy can be further generated as bilateral stimulation. The stress treatment assembly can be configured with one or more treatment units containing one or more sensors to measure real-time biometric signals and information from a user using the stress treatment assembly
Melting meibomian gland obstructions
An apparatus providing heat for treatment of an eyelid includes a heater unit configured to apply heat directly to an outer surface of the eyelid when an electrical signal is applied to the heater unit. The heater unit is affixed directly to the outer surface of the eyelid using an adhesive. A temperature regulator applies the electrical signal to the heater unit in order to achieve heating of the outer surface of the eyelid to a specified temperature range. A method is also disclosed that comprises affixing a heater unit directly into contact with the outer surface of the eyelid using an the adhesive. A control signal is applied to the heater unit to generate heat to the outer surface of the eyelid and is maintained for a period of time until the outer surface of the eyelid is heated to a specified temperature range.
POWERED ORTHOSIS WITH COMBINED MOTOR AND GEAR TECHNOLOGY
The present disclosure includes, in one embodiment, an orthosis device. The orthosis device, in one embodiment, includes an actuator housing, an electric motor contained within the actuator housing, the electric motor including a motor stator and a motor rotor forming an inner diameter, and the electric motor further having high output torque. The orthosis device according to this embodiment further includes a transmission including a gear system contained within the actuator housing, the gear system positioned within the inner diameter of the electric motor, and a body attachment coupled to an output of the gear system.
Heating device and system for a water basin
An induction heating system for a basin of a pedicure chair and a pedicure chair with one or more pumps and one or more heating sources are disclosed. A conducting object is located on an interior side of a first wall of the basin, with an induction heater located on the exterior side of the first wall. The conducting object is separated from the induction heater by a solid portion of the first wall. The induction heater is configured to generate a high frequency field that passes through the solid portion of the first wall and causes the conducting object to generate heat. A controller is configured to turn on/off the induction heater to maintain a desired temperature in the basin.
