SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR HEAT OR COLD THERAPY AND COMPRESSION THERAPY
A medical device providing a combination of thermal and DVT therapies to a patient. The components, arrangement of components, function of the device as a whole, and methods of use of the device are all devised to maximize therapeutic effectiveness. Effectiveness in this context is measured by the ability to provide a controlled application of the recommended thermal treatment including time, temperature, compression, and number of cycles with specified cycle duration.
HEATER ASSEMBLIES FOR TEMPERATURE MANAGEMENT SLEEVES
A temperature-management device comprises a wearable sleeve including a foot portion configured to cover at least a portion of a sole of a foot of a patient, a calf portion configured to cover at least a portion of a calf of the patient, the calf portion having one or more compression bladders associated therewith, and a popliteal fossa portion configured to cover at least a portion of a popliteal fossa of the patient. The temperature-management device further comprises a heater assembly configured to be secured to the wearable sleeve, the heater assembly including a foot heating pad, a popliteal fossa heating pad, and a physical connector extending between the foot heating pad and the popliteal fossa heating pad.
NEGATIVE-PRESSURE MASSAGING DEVICE
A negative-pressure massaging device capable of volatilizing essential oil is provided. The negative-pressure massaging device includes a negative-pressure cup and an essential oil volatilizing structure. The essential oil volatilizing structure is disposed in the negative-pressure cup and includes a heat conducting unit, a heating unit, and an essential oil unit. The heating unit is disposed on and contacts the heat conducting unit to heat the heat conducting unit. The essential oil unit is disposed on and contacts the heat conducting unit to be heated. The essential oil unit is heated by the heat conducting unit to volatilize essential oil into the negative-pressure cup. Accordingly, an aromatherapy may be provided when a negative-pressure massaging treatment is performed.
Health-regain device and system thereof
A health-regain device includes a driving portion, a health portion disposed on one side of the driving portion, and a control module communicably connected to the driving portion, wherein the control module controls the driving portion driving the health portion in rhythmic reciprocating motion.
Trigger point treatment method, system, and device for neuromusculoskeletal pain
A trigger point treatment system for treating a patient, includes a cart, including a display; a trigger point scanning device with a scanning probe, and a trigger point massage therapy device, including a pressure point tip, a pressure sensor component, and an actual pressure indicator. A method of trigger point treatment includes scanning for myofascial trigger points, including locating, mapping, and marking trigger points; measuring a pressure pain threshold; applying a massage treatment; and optionally applying an injection treatment.
Systems and methods for providing network connectivity and remote monitoring, optimization, and control of pool/spa equipment
Systems and methods for providing network connectivity and remote monitoring, optimization, and control of pool/spa equipment are provided. “Internet-of-Things” (IoT) functionality is provided for pool and spa equipment in a flexible and cost-effective manner. Network connectivity and remote monitoring/control of pool and spa equipment is provided by various components such as a network communication and local control subsystem installed in pool/spa equipment, and other components. Also disclosed are various control processes (“pool logic”) which can be embodied as software code installed in any of the various embodiments of the present disclosure.
Method for facilitating pinhole effect and tool to manipulate eyelash spacing for pinhole effect
A method of compensating for a refractive error, including manipulating eyelashes to project into a line of sight of an eye at least when an eyelid from which the eyelashes extend is partially closed or when the eye is moved relative to the eyelid. The method may further include manipulating at least one of spacing, orientation, direction, contour or shape of the eyelashes to create an optical effect that improves visual acuity when the eyelashes project into the line of sight and training an individual whose eyelashes are manipulated to position the eyelid from which the eyelashes extend, the eye or both the eyelid and the eye from which the eyelashes extend to achieve relative positioning of the eye and the eyelid to obtain the optical effect that improves visual acuity when desired.
DEVICE FOR TREATMENT ERECTILE DYSFUNCTION
The invention relates to a method for treatment of erectile dysfunction using a combination of heat and negative pressure.
ELECTROMAGNETIC WAVE REDUCING HEATERS AND DEVICES AND SAUNAS
Systems may include a heater including a plurality of heating elements that may include a first heating element configured to generate heat based on a first current, and a second heating element configured to generate heat based on a second current. Systems may further include an electromagnetic (EM) radiation reducing device configured to cancel electromagnetic emissions from the heater. The EM radiation reducing device may include a first EM radiation reduction element positioned adjacent to a first side of the heater, and a second EM radiation reduction element positioned adjacent to a second side of the heater, where the first and second EM radiation reduction elements have geometries configured based, at least in part, on the heater.
