FOOT CONTROLLER OF SEWING MACHINE
A foot controller includes: a pedal portion that is to be depressed by a foot thereon; a pedal stand on which one end of the pedal portion is supported so that the pedal portion freely pivots about a pivot portion; a speed control member that controls an operation speed of a sewing machine; and a depression suppression member that regulates and controls a depressing operation of the pedal portion in accordance with the depression speed of the pedal portion. In response to a depressing operation which does not involve an abrupt speed change of the pedal portion, the depression suppression member is not operated and the operation speed of the sewing machine is controlled according to an amount of depression of the pedal portion. In response to a depressing operation which involves an abrupt speed change of the pedal portion, the depression suppression member is operated.
SEWING MACHINE
A sewing machine includes at least: a movement detection unit for detecting a movement amount of a material to be sewn; a drive motor for operating a needle; a control unit for operating the drive motor; and a storage unit. The storage unit stores a sewing speed and a sewing pitch. The control unit is configured to implement a first control mode and a second control mode. In the first control mode, the control unit operates the drive motor at the stored sewing speed when the detected value by the movement detection unit exceeds a predetermined first threshold. In the second control mode, the control unit operates the drive motor such that the sewing is carried out at the stored sewing pitch on the basis of the detected value when the detected value exceeds a predetermined second threshold. These first control mode and second control mode are switchable.
Sewing machine
A sewing machine includes at least: a movement detection unit for detecting a movement amount of a material to be sewn; a drive motor for operating a needle; a control unit for operating the drive motor; and a storage unit. The storage unit stores a sewing speed and a sewing pitch. The control unit is configured to implement a first control mode and a second control mode. In the first control mode, the control unit operates the drive motor at the stored sewing speed when the detected value by the movement detection unit exceeds a predetermined first threshold. In the second control mode, the control unit operates the drive motor such that the sewing is carried out at the stored sewing pitch on the basis of the detected value when the detected value exceeds a predetermined second threshold. These first control mode and second control mode are switchable.

A sewing machine includes a rotational speed determination unit configured to determine a rotational speed instruction value on the basis of information from a movement detection sensor that detects movement of a workpiece and a predetermined sewing pitch amount, an upper limit rotational speed setting unit configured to set an upper limit rotational speed value, a rotational speed control unit configured to control a rotational speed to the rotational speed instruction value and control the rotational speed to the upper limit rotational speed value when the rotational speed instruction value reaches the upper limit rotational speed value, and a sewing machine motor driven at the controlled rotational speed to operate a needle. Rotational speed control of the sewing machine motor according to a movement amount of the workpiece is executed, but the rotational speed is controlled so as not to exceed the upper limit rotational speed.
