METHODS FOR TREATING BALDNESS AND PROMOTING HAIR GROWTH
The invention relates to methods of treating baldness, treating alopecia, promoting hair growth, and/or promoting hair follicle development and/or activation or stimulation on an area of the skin of a subject (for example, a human) by subjecting said area of the skin to integumental perturbation. Integumental perturbation can be used in combination with other treatments for promoting hair growth. The invention provides devices for integumental perturbation for promoting hair growth, and provides pharmaceutical compositions for use in combination with integumental perturbation for promoting hair growth.
Customizable massage device
A customizable massage device, including a main body to be disposed on at least a portion of a body of a user, a pressure assembly disposed at a center of the main body to provide pressure to the body of the user in response to a rotation of the pressure assembly, and an adhesive surface circumferentially disposed on a perimeter of a top surface of the main body to connect to the body of the user, such that the adhesive surface prevents the main body falling off the body of the user.
Wall-Mounted Back Care Apparatus
A wall-mounted back care apparatus for handsfree washing, lotion application, and scratching includes a pair of mounting brackets. Each mounting bracket has a mounting plate and a receiver coupled to the mounting plate. The mounting plate is mounted to a wall of a shower or a bathroom. A mounting rod is coupled to the pair of mounting brackets and is selectively engageable within the receiver of each mounting bracket. A backboard is coupled to the mounting rod. The backboard has a concave front face and a convex rear face. A cover is coupled to the backboard. The cover is selectively engageable with the backboard to be continuously disposed over the front face of the backboard. The cover exfoliates skin, applies soap or lotion, or scratches an itch.
HAND WASHING, DISINFECTION AND AUTOMATIC MASSAGE MACHINE, AND METHOD OF OPERATING THE SAME
The present invention is to provide a hand washing, disinfection and automatic massage machine. The machine is housed in a case, in which the washing and disinfectant compartment, a wastewater treatment compartment can be maintained as a control hand washing, sanitizing and massaging environment. The water can be supplied by a water pump and wastewater treatment compartment and the disinfection process is provided by UV lamps. In addition, the present invention provides a method of operating a hand washing, disinfection and automatic massage machine.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PHOTOBIOMODULATION
The present application is directed to systems, devices, and methods for diagnosing, preventing, and treating diseases and disorders through photobiomodulation therapy, either alone or in combination with one or more other therapies. More particularly, the present invention provides photon source devices configured to deliver light to a portion of an organism, which causes a physiological response within that light exposed organism. The invention also provides a system which includes one or more photon source devices and functionality for diagnosing or assessing a disease or disorder, and for monitoring responsiveness of the disease or disorder to treatment with the therapeutic light. Additionally, this application is directed to utilizing the present systems and devices in combination with known adjunctive therapies including devices, services, drugs, biologics, genetics and supplements to produce synergistic optimal therapeutic outcomes.
PORTABLE HAIR AND SCALP TREATMENT DEVICE WITH CONDUCTIVE BRISTLES
Brush portions are configured for use with a handheld device. The brush portion includes at least one bristle disposed on a bristle base, the bristle having an elongate first electrode, an elongate second electrode abutting the first electrode, and an insulator disposed between the first electrode and the second electrode. The first electrode and the second electrode are electrically connectable to a first voltage source and a second voltage source of the device, respectively.
ORAL HYGIENE DEVICES, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS
Oral hygiene devices, systems, and methods are disclosed herein. In some embodiments, the device comprises a disposable shaft configured to be releasably coupled to a reusable base. The shaft may include a head configured to engage an oral tissue and oral contents of a patient's oral cavity to dislodge one or more substances disposed on the oral tissue. In some embodiments, the shaft defines one or more lumens configured to transport a substance between the base of the device and the patient's oral cavity. The device can be configured to deliver a therapeutic agent to the patient's oral cavity to prevent and/or inhibit colonization of the oral cavity by pathogens. In particular embodiments, the device is configured to suction a substance out of the oral cavity and into the device to reduce a risk of the substance being aspirated into the patient's airways.
Handpieces for tissue treatment
A dermatological skin treatment device is provided. The device comprises a handpiece and a cutting tool, wherein the tool is inserted through the conduit and percutaneously inserted into a tissue disposed within a recessed area of the handpiece. The device and method cut the fibrous structures under the skin that cause cellulite at an angle substantially parallel to the surface of the skin and replace these structures with a non-cellulite forming structure by deploying a highly fibrous mesh through a single needle hole to create a highly fibrous layer directly or through wound healing processes.
DEVICES, SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR IMPROVING SCALP HEALTH
According to some embodiments, a method of promoting hair growth or hair stimulation in a subject comprises applying vacuum or suction using a handpiece assembly along a targeted portion of the subject's skin surface where hair growth or hair stimulation is desired and providing at least one treatment material to said targeted portion of the subject's skin surface, wherein the application of vacuum or suction helps promote hair growth or stimulate hair.
METHODS OF PREVENTING AND TREATING VIRAL INFECTIONS
Described are methods of treating a mammalian subject who is intending to undergo exposure to an inoculant comprising a virus, polynucleotide(s) encoding at least a portion of the virus, and/or epitope(s) of the virus, the method including administering at least one bioelectric signal to the subject before exposure to the inoculant in such a manner as to increase the subject's T cell count and/or T helper cell count. Also described are methods of treating a mammalian subject undergoing a viral infection, the method comprising: administering bioelectric signals to the subject so as to upregulate expression of SDF-1 in the subject, upregulate expression of PDGF in the subject, upregulate stem cell proliferation in the subject, and upregulate expression of klotho in the subject; reducing inflammation in the subject, and administering bioelectric signals to the subject so as to stimulate regeneration of the subject's lungs and blood vessels.
