Fluid control device
A fluid control device includes a housing. The housing includes a first main plate, a second main plate, and a side plate connecting the first main plate and the second main plate. The housing has a pump chamber defined by the first main plate, the second main plate, and the side plate. The fluid control device also includes a driver, a first hole that extends through the first main plate or the second main plate, and a first recess formed in the first main plate between a center and a circumference or the second main plate between a center and a circumference.
Handheld acoustic shock wave or pressure pulse application device and methods of use
A handheld acoustic shock wave or pressure pulse applicator device has a body structure and an applicator head. The body structure has a proximal end and a distal end with a longitudinal axis extending between the ends. The applicator head is at the distal end. the head emits pressure pulses or shock waves at an inclined angle relative to the longitudinal axis of the body structure. The applicator head has a balloon or lens or membrane through which the emitted pressure pulses or shock waves pass. The lens or membrane is configured to be coupled directly or indirectly to an exposed soft tissue surface of a palate inside a patient's mouth to direct emitted pressure pulses or shock waves to the brain. The applicator device can be configured with the inclined obtuse angle fixed between 150 degrees and 90 degrees or can be adjustable between 180 degrees and 90 degrees.
Air cushion arrangement for a seat, for example a vehicle seat
Air cushion assembly for a seat, such as a vehicle seat, comprising at least an air cushion and an air supply system for variably pressurizing the air cushions of the air cushion assembly with air. A respective supply line comprising a shut-off valve leads from the air supply system to each air cushion, where a pulsation module is provided and configured to act upon each air cushion with a pulsation. The pulsation module comprises a pneumatic element which is connected in a pressure-equalized manner to at least one supply line, and an actuating element for transmitting a mechanical motion to the pneumatic element for changing the volume of the pneumatic element in order to generate a pulsation.
Negative pressure treatment including mechanical and chemical pump
A negative pressure assembly includes a drape, a sealing element, a reactor, a valve and a mechanical pump assembly. The drape and the sealing element, when applied to the skin, cooperate to define an enclosed volume. The reactor is located so as to be in fluid communication with the enclosed volume when the drape is covering the dressing site. The reactor reacts with a selected gas found in air to consume the selected gas. The valve has a first operating state in which gas is drawn from the enclosed volume through the valve. The mechanical pump assembly includes a pump chamber fluidly connectable to the enclosed volume through the valve when the valve is in the first operating state. The mechanical pump is configured to fluidly connect with the enclosed volume and draw air from the enclosed volume into the pump chamber.
SPINAL TRACTION DEVICE
A spinal traction device may include a base frame, a waist bed part on the upper side of the base frame to be movable up and down, an upper body bed part connected to one side of the waist bed part, and a lower body bed part connected to the other side of the waist bed part. The upper body bed part and the lower body bed part may be rotated with respect to the waist bed part as the waist bed part is raised and lowered. The lower body bed part may include a first lower body bed member and a second lower body bed member, the second lower body bed member is horizontally movable in the longitudinal direction of the lower body bed portion with respect to the first lower body bed member and is horizontally movable or rotatable in the width direction.
SYSTEM, METHOD, AND DEVICE UTILIZING REVERSIBLE CONNECTOR
A compression garment that is selectively engageable and operable by a controller for inflation via a reversible connector, the compression garment comprising a plurality of bladders and compression garment tubing. The compression garment tubing includes a plurality of garment tubes in fluid communication with the plurality of bladders at a first compression garment tubing end and includes a second compression garment tubing end opposite the first compression garment tubing end. The reversible connector has a first connector portion and second connector portion, the first connector portion and the second connector portion being selectively reversibly connectable together to form the reversible connector.
Fluid Flow Control Valve
The systems and methods for fluid flow control valve device, where the device may include a support structure, one or more fluid tubes associated with the support structure, tensioning element supported by the support structure and being rotatable about an axis point relative to the support structure in response to an application of force, and one or more threads, each extending between the tensioning element and the one or more fluid tubes, the one or more threads configured to provide sufficient tension to compress at least one of the one or more fluid tubes in response to tension generated due to the rotation of the tensioning element.
THERAPEUTIC MOTION DEVICES INCLUDING ARTIFICIAL MUSCLE DRIVE UNITS
A therapeutic motion device includes a support structure including a first support portion and a second support portion. The first support portion rotatably coupled to the second support portion and at least one of the first support portion and the second support portion is movable relative to the other of the first support potion and the second support portion. First and second actuation arms extend from the first and second support portions, respectively. An artificial muscle drive unit couples the first actuation arm to the second actuation arm, the artificial muscle drive unit including one or more artificial muscles expandable in a movement direction to provide a movement force to at least one of the first support portion and the second support portion.
BODY MOUNTING TYPE POWER ASSIST DEVICE
A body mounting type power assist device is provided with an posture detection unit for detecting that a human body is in a predetermined posture, and a control unit for operating a rubber actuator when the posture detection unit detects that the human body is in the predetermined posture.
Cooling compression sleeve
A cooling compression sleeve device generally including three layers, a flexible bottom layer, a flexible middle layer, and a flexible top layer, and two voids, the first void substantially filled with a cooling agent and the second void including a selectively inflatable air bladder, which in its preferred form is portable, cleanable, reusable, and useful to provide cooling therapy to the limbs of humans or animals and particularly to the knee, shoulder, and elbow joints.
