A laundry treating apparatus includes: a drum defining a mounting slot and a lifter coupled to the mounting slot and disposed on an inner circumferential surface of the drum. A lifter frame includes: a frame base coupled to the inner circumferential surface; a frame upper plate; a frame sidewall that connects the frame upper plate to the frame base and that defines a lateral through-hole; and an insertion protrusion configured to be inserted into the mounting slot. The insertion protrusion includes a vertical portion that extends downward from a bottom surface of the frame base to the frame base and a catching portion that is curved from a lower end of the vertical portion toward an inside of the periphery of the frame base. A projection plane of the catching portion onto the frame base is positioned within a projection plane of the lateral through-hole onto the frame base.

A brake for a drum washing machine and a drum washing machine are disclosed. The brake includes a brake disk, provided on a second shaft; a brake seat, provided with a slideway; a brake pawl, provided to the brake seat, switchable between a state of holding the brake disk and a state of releasing the brake disk; a brake lever, slidably fitted with the slideway between an extending position and a retracting position, and the brake pawl is switched to the tightening state when the brake lever is at the extending position, and the brake pawl is switched to the releasing state when the brake lever is at the retracting position; a brake driver, mounted to the brake seat and in transmission connection with the brake lever, the brake driver driving the brake lever to move between the extending position and the retracting position.

A washing machine for performing wet, dry, physical or chemical treatments on materials includes a front loading or side loading perforated drum. The perforated drum may be mounted respectively by means of a drum shaft at the rear, or by means of drum shafts at both sides horizontally, or having an angle with a horizontal axis to a drum shaft bearing system so as to rotate around a central axis of the drum. The drum may have at least one water-free dry zone on at least one outer surface of the drum, which is not accessed or contacted by the water draining from the drum during all wet treatment application processes carried out by the washing machine with water.

A drum washing machine includes a tub; a drum rotatably provided in the tub; an agitator rotatably provided in the drum; a driver in transmission connection with the drum via a main shaft, and the main shaft transmitting a torque of the driver to the drum; a planetary gear assembly in transmission connection with the main shaft and the agitator separately, and transmitting the torque of the main shaft to the agitator; and a brake linked with the planetary gear assembly.

A laundry treating apparatus includes a cabinet, a tub, a drum, and a detergent feeder. The detergent feeder includes a storage unit including therein a storage space for storing detergent therein, a detergent hose for flowing detergent delivered from the storage unit therethrough, and a water supply unit connected to the detergent hose to supply delivered detergent to the storage unit together with water. At least a portion of the detergent hose extends along an outer surface of the water supply unit, and a hose accommodating groove extending along a longitudinal direction of the detergent hose to accommodate the detergent hose therein is defined in the outer surface of the water supply unit.

A laundry treating apparatus includes a cabinet, a tub, a drum, and a detergent feeder. The detergent feeder includes a storage unit, a supply casing, and a water supply unit, where the storage unit is inserted into the cabinet through the detergent opening and includes therein a storage space for storing detergent therein. The supply casing accommodates the storage unit therein. The water supply unit is configured to supply water to the storage unit and includes a water supply portion for supplying water to the storage unit, a shower portion for supplying water into the supply casing by avoiding the storage unit, and a shower flow channel extending from the water supply portion and connected to the shower portion to deliver water from the water supply portion to the shower portion.

A laundry treating apparatus includes a cabinet, a tub, a drum, and a rotation shaft extending in a front-rear direction, and a detergent dispenser configured to be inserted into and withdrawn from the cabinet. The detergent dispenser includes a dispenser tray, a dispenser housing accommodating the dispenser tray, and a dispenser cover seated on the dispenser housing and configured to supply wash water to the dispenser tray or the dispenser housing. The dispenser cover has a front supply flow path configured to supply the wash water to a front portion of the dispenser housing, and the dispenser housing has a front flow path configured to diffuse the wash water supplied from the front supply flow path. The front flow path is defined at a front portion of a bottom surface of the dispenser housing and configured to guide the wash water to a discharge hole defined at the bottom surface.

A laundry treating apparatus includes: a drum configured to rotate about a rotation axis and a lifter disposed on an inner circumferential surface of the drum and configured to rotate with the drum. The lifter includes: a lifter frame installed on the inner circumferential surface and a frame cover that is coupled to the lifter frame and that protrudes radially inward from the inner circumferential surface toward the rotation axis. The frame cover includes: a cover upper plate that is spaced apart from the inner circumferential surface and that defines a water flow discharge hole configured to discharge, into the drum, washing water received into the lifter; a cover sidewall that extends from the cover upper plate toward the inner circumferential surface; and an upper plate protrusion that protrudes from the cover upper plate toward the rotation axis.

A laundry treating apparatus includes a cabinet, a tub, a drum, and a rotation shaft extending in a front-rear direction, and a detergent dispenser configured to be inserted into and withdrawn from the cabinet. The detergent dispenser includes a dispenser tray, a dispenser housing accommodating the dispenser tray, and a dispenser cover seated on the dispenser housing and configured to supply wash water to the dispenser tray or the dispenser housing. The dispenser cover has a front supply flow path configured to supply the wash water to a front portion of the dispenser housing, and the dispenser housing has a front flow path configured to diffuse the wash water supplied from the front supply flow path. The front flow path is defined at a front portion of a bottom surface of the dispenser housing and configured to guide the wash water to a discharge hole defined at the bottom surface.

A washing machine includes a cabinet, a tub, a drum, a drawer disposed within the cabinet to hold detergent, a drawer housing configured to insert into and withdraw from the cabinet, a water supply guide flow channel for supplying water passed through the drawer into the tub, a top cover housing covering an open top of the cabinet and defining a receiving space above the cabinet, a detergent mixer disposed in the receiving space, and a discharge guiding mechanism. The detergent mixer includes additive cartridges that accommodate liquid additives, additive pumps corresponding to the additive cartridges, and a flow channel box including pump intake paths that guide the additives from the additive cartridges to the additive pumps and pump discharge paths that guide the additives discharged from the additive pumps. The discharge guiding mechanism guides the additives discharged from the pump discharge paths to the water supply guide flow channel.
