CLOTHES PRE-WASH COMPARTMENT FOR AN APPLIANCE
The specification discloses a basin disposed in a top portion of a drying appliance, the basin having a fluid drain therein connected to a basin drain line. The appliance includes a water valve in fluid communication with a water source having an outlet in fluid communication with the basin and a tee connector disposed in a drain line of a washing appliance for draining fluid from the basin.
METHOD FOR OPERATING A LAUNDRY TREATMENT APPLIANCE AND LAUNDRY TREATMENT APPLIANCE
A method for operating a laundry treatment appliance having a casing within which a drum rotated by a motor is arranged, an opening provided in the casing for loading the laundry into the drum and a door adapted to open or to close the opening. The method includes performing a treatment cycle that includes: a) determining the amount of laundry load in the drum; and b) if the determined amount of laundry is outside a laundry load threshold range, issuing a warning to the user and waiting for a prescribed waiting time before starting the cycle, whereby during the waiting time the laundry treatment appliance switches to an operating mode in which the user to is allowed to change the amount of laundry load in the drum.
WASHING MACHINE AND CONTROL METHOD OF WASHING MACHINE
A washing machine includes: a tub; a drum; an induction heater disposed in a position spaced apart from the drum and configured to heat the drum; an input power source; a relay configured to interrupt a current applied to the coil of the induction heater from the input power source; a first processor configured to control the relay; and a safety device connected to a circuit connecting the first processor and the relay. The safety device includes: a first thermostat configured to operate according to a temperature of a first air between the drum and the tub, and open the circuit when the temperature of the first air is a first safety control temperature; and a thermal fuse configured to operate according to a temperature of a second air outside the tub, and open the circuit when the temperature of the second air is a second safety control temperature.
WASHING MACHINE AND CONTROL METHOD OF WASHING MACHINE
A washing machine includes: a tub; a drum; a temperature sensor configured to detect a temperature of air between the drum and the tub; an induction heater configured to heat the drum; a controller unit configured to control the induction heater within a preset control temperature range; a circuit configured to supply power to the induction heater; a first thermostat configured to operate according to a first temperature of air between the drum and the tub and open the circuit when the first temperature is a first safety control temperature; and a thermal fuse configured to operate according to a second temperature of air outside the tub and open the circuit when the second temperature is a second safety temperature corresponding to a case where the temperature of the drum is in a second safety temperature range having a larger value than the first safety temperature range.
Electric Power Control Device For Laundry Treatment Apparatus
A laundry treatment apparatus includes a first treatment device that includes a first receiving unit that is configured to receive laundry, a first load unit that is configured to heat water or air in the first receiving unit, and a first electric power cable that is configured to supply electric power to the first load unit. The laundry treatment apparatus further includes a second treatment device that includes a second receiving unit that is configured to receive laundry, a second load unit that is configured to heat water or air in the second receiving unit, and a second electric power cable that is configured to supply electric power to the second load unit. The laundry treatment apparatus further includes an electric power control device that is connected to a power supply and that is configured to supply electric power to the first treatment device and to the second treatment device.
LAUNDRY TREATMENT APPARATUS
A laundry treatment apparatus includes a cabinet having an introduction/discharge opening, a drawer configured so as to be discharged from the cabinet through the introduction/discharge opening, a through-hole formed in an upper surface of the drawer, a tub that is located inside the drawer and that defines a space that is configured to receive water, an introduction aperture formed in an upper surface of the tub, the introduction aperture being located under the through-hole, a drum rotatably provided inside the tub for receiving laundry supplied to the introduction aperture, a door that is configured to open and close the introduction aperture, the door being coupled to one of the drawer or the tub, and a door sensing unit that is configured to determine whether the door is opened during a state in which the drawer is inserted into the cabinet.
