LAUNDRY TREATMENT APPLIANCE WITH WATER SOFTENING SYSTEM
A laundry treatment appliance comprising: a fresh water supply; a treatment chamber; a water softener; a liquid delivery system connected to the water supply, the water softener, and a treatment agent delivery system configured to store a water-soluble treating agent pod and/or a steam generator. The liquid delivery system is configured to supply fresh water from the water supply or soft water from the water softener into the treatment chamber. The appliance can perform one or more treatment cycles including at least one of: a first cycle in which the process liquid supplied by said process liquid delivery system further includes laundry treatment agents contained in the pod, and a second cycle in which the steam generator is activated to steam into the treatment chamber. The appliance further comprises a control unit to activate the water softener to provide the process liquid delivery system with soft water.
BETTER DOSING WITH A VIRTUAL AND ADAPTIVE LOW COST DOSER
Systems and methods for improved laundry dosing are provided. An image of a detergent container captured by a user is received. Image recognition is performed on the image of the detergent container to identify a detergent to be used based on shape, color, text, and/or brand logo of the detergent container. Parameters of the detergent are identified based on the image recognition. A dose of the detergent is recommended and/or a controlled release of a dose of the detergent is performed for a laundry cycle of a laundry appliance according to the parameters.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MANAGING HOME APPLIANCE WATER USE
A water use management system may be installed in a setting that contains a primary infrastructure for water use to provide an alternate, modular infrastructure for water use. Fresh water used at various points of use, such as a shower or sink, may be diverted into the modular infrastructure prior to draining into the primary infrastructure. Once diverted, the precedent use water is received at a reservoir system where it is treated for a subsequent use. Treatment may include filtration and/or chemical treatment, and may be based upon sensor feedback from the reservoir system. Once treated, the water is ready for subsequent use and may flow from the reservoir system, via the modular infrastructure, to a subsequent point of use, such as a toilet.
LAUNDRY TREATMENT APPARATUS AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING THE SAME
A method of controlling a laundry treatment apparatus, the method including: determining whether bubbles have been generated in a tub of the laundry treatment apparatus in a state in which a second washing apparatus of the laundry treatment apparatus is operated based on a sequence of operations; and based on a determination that bubbles have been generated, reducing bubbles by (i) adding at least one first operation to the sequence of operations or (ii) replacing at least one second operation of the sequence of operations, is disclosed.
SENSING MULTI-MATERIAL DETERGENT DISPENSING SYSTEM
A washing machine has a reservoir configured to hold materials to be washed, the reservoir positioned to receive water from a water source, a drain pipe connected to the reservoir, at least two cleaning agent dispensers, a controller connected to the cleaning agent dispensers, the controller arranged to control water flow into and out of the reservoir, and dispensing of agents from the cleaning agent dispenser, and at least one sensor arranged to sense contents of one of either the water or materials to be washed and communicate the contents to the controller, the controller to dispense cleaning agents based upon the contents. A method of dispensing cleaning agents includes receiving signals from at least one sensor, wherein the signals provide information about soil in a reservoir, using the information to select appropriate cleaning agents from a set of cleaning agents, and dispensing selected cleaning agents into the reservoir.
CONTROL METHOD OF WASHING MACHINE
In a control method of a washing machine, a primary nephelometric turbidity unit (NTU) of washing water is sensed before a washing course is started in a washing cycle, a second NTU is sensed based on the primary NTU, and a washing time, an amount of washing agent, and/or a number of times of rinsing are varied based on a difference value between the primary NTU and the secondary NTU, thereby improving washing performance and washing efficiency.
CLOTHES TREATING APPARATUS AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
The present disclosure relates to a clothes treating apparatus and a control method thereof, the clothes treating apparatus being an integrated washing machine in which a washer-dryer combo and a dryer are stacked, comprising: a circulation duct that circulates air inside the washing/drying machine or the dryer; and a filter unit that is provided in the circulation duct, wherein the filter unit may be cleaned using an external water supply source in addition to condensed water.

CLOTHES TREATING APPARATUS
A clothes treating apparatus including a cabinet having a laundry inlet; a door configured to open and close the laundry inlet; a drum inside the cabinet to accommodate clothes received in the drum through the laundry inlet while the laundry inlet is opened by the door; a sensing device including a sensor to measure a temperature or a humidity in the drum; and a holder on the door or the drum. The sensing device is separably mountable to the holder so that, when the sensing device is mounted to the holder, the sensing device is held by the holder and, when the sensing device is separated from the holder, the sensing device is allowed to move with respect to the drum, within the drum, so as to measure the temperature or the humidity in the drum while clothes accommodated in the drum are being treated.
