The methods include opening and closing one or more valves to flow water to the additive reservoir of the dispenser.

Method for Washing Laundry in a Laundry Washing Machine and Laundry Washing Machine

A method for washing laundry in a washing machine utilizes a washing tub external to a rotatable washing drum. The method includes: • providing a quantity of detergent; • providing a first quantity of water to form with the detergent a quantity of washing solution; • introducing the washing solution into the tub; • recirculating the washing solution inside the tub by means of recirculation means until the washing solution is absorbed by the loaded laundry inside the drum and the level of the washing solution is below the drum; • activating heating means for heating the wetted loaded laundry inside the drum; • deactivating the heating means and maintaining the heated wetted loaded laundry inside the drum for a predetermined dry maintenance time; • supplying a second quantity of water in the tub; • rotating the drum; and • rinsing the loaded laundry by means of drum rotations and by means of liquid drainage from the tub.

A method of operating a washing machine appliance is provided. The washing machine appliance includes a rotatable basket and a motor configured to drive the rotatable basket. The method includes sensing an attribute of articles in the basket. The method also includes determining a pause duration for an agitation operation based at least in part on the sensed attribute of the articles in the basket. The method further includes performing the agitation operation for a period of time. The agitation operation includes activating a motor of the washing machine appliance to agitate the articles within the basket for an agitation duration and deactivating the motor of the washing machine appliance for the pause duration. The period of time is equal to the sum of the agitation duration and the pause duration.

CONTROL METHOD FOR CLOTHING TREATMENT APPARATUS

A control method for a clothing treatment apparatus. The clothing treatment apparatus includes an air washing device for performing air washing on clothing. The control method includes: obtaining the material of clothing; obtaining the type of a clothing detergent; obtaining the type of a stain on the clothing; and determining a parametric range of air washing according to the material of the clothing, the type of the clothing detergent, and the type of the stain on the clothing. The embodiments allow clothing to be subjected to air washing treatment within an optical parametric range, i.e., a detergent can exert an activation function to the greatest extent, and also allows a stain to be removed and cleaned within the most suitable parametric range to improve the clothing decontamination capability, thereby improving a clothing treatment effect and improving user experience.

Laundry treating appliance with internal housing

A laundry treating appliance, such as a clothes washer, either vertical or horizontal axis, can have a bulk dispenser capable of dispensing multiple doses of treating chemistry from a reservoir of treating chemistry. A housing fluidly couples a supply of water and the treating chemistry for supplying both to a treating chamber within the laundry treating appliance.

METHOD FOR CONTROLLING WASHING MACHINE

A method of controlling a washing machine that includes a drum rotatably provided in a tub that receives water, at least one nozzle spraying water into the drum, a washing motor rotating the drum, and a circulation pump circulating water within the washing machine, the method including: operating the washing motor to rotate the drum in a first rotational direction while repeatedly alternating between an acceleration and a deceleration of the drum so that laundry in the drum alternates between maintaining contact with an inner surface of the drum during acceleration, and separates from the inner surface of the drum during deceleration; and operating a circulation pump motor in the circulation pump, while the drum rotates in the first rotational direction, to accelerate a pump speed of the circulation pump during the acceleration of the drum, and to decelerate the pump speed during deceleration of the drum.

A washing machine has a rotatable drum for receiving items to be washed and a tub in which the drum is mounted for rotation. A first water sensor is located at or towards the bottom of the tub and is arranged to measure the level of water collected at the bottom of the tub. A second water sensor is located at a part of the tub away from the first water sensor and measures the amount of water being thrown out of the drum as the drum rotates. The drum is rotated in accordance with a difference of the outputs of the sensors.

Method and apparatus for cleaning laundry

A laundry washing machine having a casing, a washing tub located within the casing, a drum mounted within the washing tub and configured to rotate relative to the casing, a door attached to the casing and being openable to provide access to the drum, a receptacle configured to receive a unit dose package comprising a water soluble pouch containing a dose of cleaning product, a tub supply pipe fluidly connecting the receptacle to washing tub, and means for mechanically breaking the unit dose package.

Washing machine and steam washing method thereof

A washing machine and a steam washing method. In order to enable the washing machine to meet a user's demand for refined washing and to achieve the object of reducing washing machine costs and energy consumption, the steam washing method includes: receiving an initial washing program of the washing machine; determining whether a steam washing instruction is received; and if not, performing a corresponding initial washing operation according to the initial washing program, and if so, configuring at least one steam washing program based on the initial washing program, where the washing machine can perform the corresponding steam washing operation according to the steam washing program. The method heats a minimum amount of water each time to generate steam, and determines whether a second heating is performed to generate steam based on the washing effect, so massive heating is avoided if much steam is unnecessary, thus maximizing energy savings.

Integrated single dose and bulk dispenser for a laundry treating appliance

A laundry treating appliance for treating laundry according to an automatic cycle of operation includes a treating chamber and a dispenser fluidly coupled to the treating chamber. The dispenser has a single dose reservoir, a bulk dispensing reservoir, and an overflow fluidly coupling the single dose reservoir to the bulk dispensing reservoir.
