Drainage and dewatering control method for self-cleaning washing machine

Cleaning particles are arranged in a space between the inner tub and the outer tub of a washing machine. A drainage and dewatering control method comprises: opening a drainage valve; determining the amount of the cleaning particles per each unit volume of water in the space; and controlling the rotating speed of the inner tub. Drainage and dewatering processes are divided into at least two control stages according to the amount of the cleaning particles per each unit volume of water in the space, different rotating ways of the inner tub are set in respective stages, and the rotating speed of the inner tub is higher in the stage that the amount of the cleaning particles per unit volume of water is larger. A control stage is selected according to the detected amount of the cleaning particles per unit volume of water in the space.

Antibacterial glass

An antimicrobial glass tablet that releases silver ions when brought into direct contact with water, containing: Ag.sub.2O within the range of above 5% by weight but less than 10% by weight, ZnO below 10% by weight, P.sub.2O.sub.5, CaO, K.sub.2O, Al.sub.2O.sub.3, and MgO.

Mitigation of odor in cleaning machines and cleaning processes

The invention relates to malodor controlling bacteria and related methods and compositions for the control and prevention of malodor.

DRUM WASHING MACHINE AND METHOD FOR CLEANING TUB THEREOF

A drum washing machine implements a control method, allowing a tub of the drum washing machine to be easily cleaned. The method includes supplying washing water during a first water supplying step to the interior of the tub while a drum rotatably supported in the tub rotates at a water-supplying RPM. A first wash step is executed following completion of the first water supplying step, and includes accelerating rotation of the drum from the water-supplying RPM to a first-wash RPM to that create a circulatory flow in which the washing water falls from the top of opposite ends of the tub while circulating along the inner circumferential surface of the tub due to the rotational power of the drum. A wash draining step is started during the first wash step, and includes turning on the drain pump and controlling the amount of the washing water in the tub.

A laundry treatment machine includes: a washing tub; a motor configured to supply rotational force to the washing tub; a water level sensor configured to detect a water level of the washing tub; a communicator configured to transmit data to a server or receive data from the server; and a controller server configured to control to stop operation, when a drainage error is detected during drainage operation of the washing tub, and, when tub washing schedule information is received from the server through the communicator, to control to perform operation to wash the washing tub based on the tub washing schedule information.

VENTILATION CONTROL METHOD FOR LAUNDRY DEVICE

A ventilation control method for a laundry device to solve problems related to bacteria after clothes are washed in a laundry device, due to the moist interior of a drum assembly thereof. When an air intake fan is started, the present current of the air intake fan is acquired; if the present current of the air intake fan reaches a pre-set current value, water is injected into a water intake pipe to trigger a siphoning apparatus to discharge water from the water intake pipe, and a drum assembly is then ventilated; and if the present current of the air intake fan does not reach the pre-set current value, the drum assembly is directly ventilated. After clothes are washed, residual water inside a drum assembly can be air-dried, preventing breeding of bacteria and generation, and clothes are not subjected to secondary pollution during subsequent washes, thereby improving the user experience.
