A LAUNDRY WASHING MACHINE
A laundry washing machine having a cabinet, a washing tub, a washing drum rotatable within the tub and having a tubular mantle that is closed, at least partially, by a flange facing a closed end of the tub. A shaft protrudes from the flange through the closed wall. A driving system comprising an operating module is mounted on the tub, and an operated module is fixed to the free shaft end, the operating module rotates the operated module relative to the washing tub. One or more electric loads are mounted in/on the washing drum. A wireless power transmitter unit is mounted to the tub and arranged for wireless transmitting electric power to a wireless power receiver unit configured to supply electric power to the one or more electric loads. The wireless power receiver unit is mounted in/on the operated module.
CLOTHING TREATMENT APPARATUS
A clothing treatment includes: a cabinet ; a door coupled to the cabinet ; a tub, ; a drum provided inside the tub ; a driving unit for rotating the drum; a gasket, that connectsan entrance of the cabinet toan opening of the tub ; and a water supply unit for supplying water to the tub. The water supply unit is configured to supply water to the tub to a first water level higher than the lowest part ofan inner side surface of the gasket. The driving unitis configured to rotate the drum at a first rotating speed at which a centrifugal force applied to laundry inside the drum is greater than the gravity applied to the laundry, at the first water level.

Washing machine and method for controlling the same
A washing machine includes a water storage tank, a vibration sensor provided to the water storage tank, a washing tub rotatably disposed in the water storage tank and configured to accommodate laundry therein, a motor configured to rotate the washing tub, and a controller. The controller is configured to: measure an unbalance (UB) value based on rotating the washing tub during a dewatering stroke; control the motor to stop rotating the washing tub based on the UB value exceeding an allowable UB value included in a preset UB table; measure a dewatering time of the laundry and a vibration value during the dewatering stroke using the vibration sensor; and change the allowable UB value included in the preset UB table based on the dewatering time and the vibration value.
Washing machine and manufacturing method thereof
Provided are a washing machine that can be manufactured in a large capacity without deterioration in function, and a manufacturing method thereof. A washing machine includes a drum, a drum back, and a spider. The drum back includes a coupling portion formed to protrude in a front direction of the drum at a portion of the drum back to which the spider is coupled so as to correspond to a shape of the spider, a first forming portion formed to be recessed in a back direction of the drum at a portion of the drum back to which the spider is not coupled, and a reinforcement portion formed to additionally protrude in the front direction of the drum at a portion of the coupling portion that is adjacent to the first forming portions.

METHOD AND CONTROL UNIT FOR ACTIVATING DETERGENT FOR A CLEANING APPLIANCE WITH A ROTATABLE DRUM WITHOUT RIBS, AND CLEANING APPLIANCE
A detergent activation method for a cleaning appliance having a rotatable non-ribbed drum for holding the textiles) and includes a step of supplying a feed signal to a feed unit of the cleaning appliance. The feed signal causes the cleaning liquid to be fed into a suds container until a predetermined target fill level in the drum is reached. In the supplying step, a motion signal may be supplied to a drive of the cleaning appliance when the target fill level is reached, wherein the motion signal causes a rocking rhythm of the drum. The rocking rhythm defines successive rotational motions of the drum at increasing rotational speeds without a complete revolution of the drum. In the supplying step, a stop signal may be supplied to the drive when a final rotational speed of the rocking rhythm has been reached, to cause the rotational motions of the drum to stop.

HORIZONTAL AXIS LAUNDRY TREATMENT MACHINE HAVING CORNER ENTRY
A laundry treatment machine including: a cabinet; a tub within the cabinet; a horizontal axis fluid pervious drum within the tub rotatable about a horizontal axis, wherein the drum has a diameter orthogonal to the horizontal axis and an average width in line with the horizontal axis and a ratio of diameter to average width from 1.5:1 to 3.25:1; a circumferential entry section into the tub that spans at least across an intermediate range of from 30 degrees to 60 degrees above and rotationally about the horizontal axis and is bounded within a front position of more than 2 degrees above and rotationally about the horizontal axis and a top position less than 90 degrees above and rotationally about the horizontal axis; and a door in the cabinet, the door sealingly engaged with the entry section.
WASHING DRUM UNIT WITH A JET SPRAY
A washing machine has a rotatable drum that is positioned within a tub. The drum has a drum base at one end of the drum. The drum base includes at least one slot to enable the passage of water into the drum. The tub has a tub base at one end of the tub. The tub base includes a water inlet that is arranged in line with the at least one slot in the drum base so that water is sprayed into the drum when the at least one slot rotates into alignment with the water inlet on the tub base and so that the spray of water into the drum is interrupted when the at least one slot rotates out of alignment with the water inlet on the tub base.
